Historia
Translated more often than any other book except the Bible, the Tao Te Ching has been a spiritual guide for centuries, helping millions find peace within themselves, with each other, and with the natural world around them. Written in workbook style, complete with exercises, questionnaires, journal-keeping techniques, and affirmations, The Tao of Inner Peace translates the ancient Eastern philosophy into a plan for contemporary Western living.

A wonderful guide to personal transformation
Revisado: 02-06-22
The new audio edition of Diane Dreher's book on how to embrace the principles of the Tao Te Ching for personal transformation is well written, with clear prose and engaging, real-life stories. The narrator's voice is warm and friendly, with nice modulation. Each chapter includes personal exercises and affirmations that encourage readers to apply the Tao principles of inner peace to their own lives. Dreher connects our inner lives with our relationships to family, friends, coworkers, and community members, and then weaves connections to the big picture -- nature, food production systems, health and physical fitness, even global economics, climate change, and peace movements--arguing that everything is interconnected. She takes a truly holistic approach to wellness, and I learned so much from listening to her explain how Tao concepts can help us to manage stress, confront difficult problems in our lives and relationships, and even help us to resolve interpersonal conflicts more effectively and compassionately. I know I will listen to this book again in the coming months to revisit the wisdom it offers. It has inspired me to work toward becoming my best self. I highly recommend it for those who want a gentle and supportive guide to creating positive change in their lives and communities.

Awesome story, lots to think about

Very entertaining stories about Felicia Day's life and work (so far). I appreciated her take on Gamergate and I was inspired by her openness to discussing her struggles with anxiety and depression and chronic overwork. And mostly, I just had a good time listening to her tell about her life with her wit and enthusiasm.
