a little predictable

Honestly I did not like the narrator, at times he would say some words as if they were scary as if he was reading to a 4 year old and sometimes it wasnt necessary. I did enjoy his male voices, but his females voices were terrible.
I liked the story over all. however, I knew it! I won't give a spoiler but I was able to predict several things through out the story, which may not be a bad thing, but I wish I hadn't guessed correctly.

it was verybeasy to fall in love with Katie, the main character, she's smart and strong. I enjoyed the twists and turns of this story. my only complaint is how quickly the story comes to an end. I really enjoyed this story.

Narrators Inflections were all wrong

really enjoyed the story, and for the most part I enjoyed the narrator until he was Holly's voice what the heck? she's supposed to be timid and weak not exasperated it was almost painful to listen to. his inflections for some other characters were kind of terrible as well. we rely on these narrators to entertain us and to be able to tell these stories and this guy should just stick to male only voices.

Sometimes it was a little difficult to figure out which voice was Laura versus Cassidy the narrator could have done a little bit better changing their voices, the mother's voice and Cassidys friends voices wete much different I feel like Cassidy and Laura were practically the same voice the whole story

I have really been enjoying Gerri Hills books. my only complaint is the narrator, Nicol Zanzarella, could be just a little bit better at changing her voice between the 2 main characters sometimes the dialog was back and forth and sometimes I got confused at who was saying what. but she did well with other characters. I liked this story.

really enjoying Gerri Hill stories

overall I have been really enjoying Gerri Hills books. this story had a couple spots where the characters were on the phone one second and then next they were together the transition was seemless and a bit confusing. but I really liked the ending to this story and can't wait to start book 2.

Mixed emotions.

I really enjoyed the story line, although it was annoying to listen to. ...Anna says, ...Marco says, ...Hasback says, Anna says, Marco replies, says Hasback... if the narrator could have stayed in the correct character, all the he said she said could have been eliminated it was really frustrating and annoying. Half way through I considered not continuing, however, I am partly glad I did because the I enjoy a good mystery. Again the plot was good and I really enjoyed the ending, although it was a bit predictable. But i did struggle to listen at times.
