Historia
Fifty years ago, a diabolical plan was set in motion. It ended in murder. In present day, Adam Tate is in a rush to build his wife’s dream home. She’s ill, and he lives with the looming fear that her days are numbered in months rather than years. As he digs the foundation for their new home, he makes a chilling discovery - long-buried skeletons. On impulse, he hides the grave and pushes it from his mind. When Adam and his wife, Holly, move into their new home six months later, it becomes clear that Adam has awoken something that will not be silenced.

Ghostly perfect
Revisado: 01-02-22
Oh God, this book had me on edge the whole time, it was so, so good.
I love that we get the different POV, the past and the present, because it makes it more interesting and helps you start trying to figure out what really happened.
I am happy about how everything came out at the end, it was what I was hoping and I wasn't disappointed.
The narration was really great. Matt Haynes is a new to me narrator but I quite like his performance. He delivers the story really well and makes the book more enjoyable.

Amazing story and great narration
Revisado: 11-03-21
Well... I don't know why I haven't written a review of this book, this is like the 3rd time I listen to it.
Lexi C Foss once again manage to create a great paranormal word, with an amazing plot and characters you will fall for.
Darius and Juliette story was fantastic, I love how their relationship evolves and how Juliette breaks from her training and grows a backbone.
The secondary characters are an important part of the story and have a role to play that we will see in the next books, and they intrigued you and makes you want to read more about them.
As for the narration, Sarah Puckett and Kale Williams are perfection. I love that Lexi has chosen them to narrate her books, because they bring the story to life in an amazing way and makes you want to listen and listen for hours.

They call them the Court, an elite boys club who rule Windsor Preparatory Academy like gods among men. And, of course, they're led by Hercules himself. Royal Prinze - yes, that's actually his name - walks around both the school and the town like he owns them. His affiliation to the prestigious Court only gives him more clout. These boys do anything they want. They take anything they want, and they f--k anything they want...in that order. Then there's me.

Mistery, great chemestry, awesome naration
Revisado: 12-13-20
GOSH! WHat a crazy ride this book was, it's one of those bboks that makes you have lots of conflicted emotions. The characters are really well written and you can love them, hate them, love-hate them and anything in between.
There is so much mistery surrounding this stroy, and it ends with a cliffhanger that makes you want to run a rant to the author because of that, but really makes you want to jum right straight into the next book to know what is going to happen and hoe this events will change the dynamic between the characters.
Now, for the narration. It was my first time listening to Kasi Hollowell, and she did amazing, her performance was really good and make me enjoy the book much more.

Amazing, great narration
Revisado: 08-27-20
I enjoyed this book a lot and Kelsey Navarro's narration made it even better. Her narration of this book was fantastic, you could feel all the emotions, the heartache, the pain, everything was really well performed. I've had listen to other narrations by her and this was an amazing one for sure.
The book is well written and captivating, with the misteries it carries, it makes you pay attention to every word and every detail that is said, in the hopes you can make sense on what's going on and unravel everything before they do. The book is feel with deep emotions, pain, heartache, grief, and it hurt to listen everything the characters go through, but it's part of what makes it a really enjoyable book.

Ghost & Mistery
Revisado: 07-14-20
This is the third book of these series that I have listen to (yes, I didn't started in order) and by now I am so obsessed with these books, and they haven’t disappoint in the slightest.
By now I am used to the different POV and the change in timeline of these books, but it is well written that I didn't get confused, and I actually like it because it brings more light into the story and you get to start realizing what happened and start getting your own conclusions into what’s going to happen.
This story was good, but also sad and tragic, I cannot imagine what this family had to go through, all the horrors that Sophia went through at the asylum at the hand of Dr. Kaiser. I hated Gram Ruth, she´s a horrible, selfish person, how could she do that to her own son, she ruined their lives and continue living hers as if nothing had happen, honestly a horrible women.
The whole journey to finding the truth about who was the real murderer of Rosemary was really captivating, and I couldn’t stop listening until I was finished with the story. I liked how between Jude and Hattie were able to figure out what had happened, Hattie with her visions and her painting, and Jude going out and asking questions even risking her own life. I also liked some o the secondary characters like their uncle, although I would have love to see the re-encounter between him and Sophia. Detective Kurt Bell, and Damian, even though he messed up big.
As for the narration, it is the first time I listen to Allison Voller, she has a nice voice that is easy to listen to, good tone and paced, she doesn't have really indistinguishable between all the characters but it wasn’t a problem I enjoyed her narration and would listen to another audiobook narrated by her.

With the paranormal community under threat, their homes and businesses going up in flames, Imogen wasn’t worried.

Fantastic
Revisado: 06-15-20
I am completely smitten by these paranormals, and Titus did not disappoint me. This was a slightly more emotional read than the last books, and I may have shed a tear or two. Imogene and Titus were a great couple, I love them so much, even though at the beginning Imogen didn't wanted a relationship and was reluctant to touch Titus to find if he was his fated mate, once it was clear they were, she accepted it and their relationship just was awesome.
Of course Solomon needed to make his appearance and provide the entertainment as always and he didn't fail us LOL.
The narration by Sarah L. Colton and Troy Duran was perfect as always, they make these books so amazing with their great performance.

The first time I saw Chase McKay at a bar, I thought I’d met the man of my dreams—I just didn’t recall the man of my dreams looking like the lead singer of a grunge band. Then as soon his friend showed up, Chase bolted like I was his worst nightmare. The second time I see him in a bar, I can tell by the look in his eyes that we both regretted his choice that first night. He has no idea that I’ll be showing up at his office tomorrow. I don’t want to make things any more complicated than they already are, but I do want him like nobody’s business.

Not LOL at all
Revisado: 07-03-19
This was kind of disappointing, it was a little bit entertaining and fast paced with no major drama or angst. But I didn't find it really funny or Lol like it says. It's also a little bit predictable, and those two alternative endings weren't really my cup of tea, didn't make sense for me.
The narration was great, Erin Mallon as always did a great job.

This was book was funny and light, really easy to listen to. I liked my the way they meet and how she ends up being his assistant which help her to overcome her fear. Huxley brothers are really cool, both of them and I hope they get a book of their own. After finishing the book, I really want to have some beignets . . .
The narration of Holly Fielding was so good, It's my first time listening to her narration and she did a pretty good job with it, I will definitely be listening more of her narrations.

Dear grouchy neighbor: I’m considering your offer and need clarification before proceeding. Despite being an artist, I think you know that as a busy New Yorker, I am also practical and straightforward. That said, I need to make sure you know that this could never turn into anything serious. I don’t care if you’re trying to get over your ex-girlfriend or hoping she’ll eventually want to get back together with you - just don’t project your messy feelings about her onto me.

Funny and light. Great narrattion.
Revisado: 06-11-19
I really enjoyed this book a lot. It's funny, light, fast paced, quite entertaining, sweet, and with a really cute dog.
This books captures your attention from the beginning and you cannot stop listening.
I loved their first encounter 😂 and how Bernadette goes all "crazy" straight forward talking to Daysi 🐶, and Matt wasn't quite amuse at all. 🙄
The emails they sent to each other are quite funny, they left me with a grin on my face each time, the light banter between them was really great.
Bernadette parents are everything! they're pretty great and those awkward moments with them were quite amusing😅. And so it's Matt aunt's, that she really knew what she was doing letting him stay at her apartment.
The narrattion of the book was great, Teddy Hamilton did an amazing job as always. It's my first time listening to Mackenzie Cartwright, and I liked her narrattion a lot, she has a good male voice, portrayes the emotions of the characters pretty well, and also has different voices for each of them.
