David Burroughs was once a devoted father to his three-year-old son Matthew, living a dream life just a short drive away from the working-class suburb where he and his wife, Cheryl, first fell in love—until one fateful night when David woke suddenly to discover Matthew had been murdered while David was asleep just down the hall.

I loved it.
Revisado: 03-03-24
The story was original. It kept me guessing most of the time. I was captivated overall. I would recommend this book.
Some of the dialogue was overly wordy but with the overall writing well done it was easy to look past it.

This book is demented Fantasy fiction
Revisado: 10-03-20
I started this book with an open mind, However, after reading it my realization Manifested. Initially I suspected RH Hubbard is onto something new and exciting. I was greatly mistaken. Inside this book, it believe that the author either witnessed, fantasized or experienced some very heinous crimes as a child and has been searching for answers to cure himself. The hypothesis that our memories can be recalled easily is a type of Hipnosis that interviewers will use to help victims remember detail that they may not be aware they witnessed. In addition, to Scientology being a religion the author still references God which is predominantly Christianity in his examples of clearing a subject. I am not questioning the idea of God being real or not. I am questioning the authors intentions on writing this text and understand that if you limit your exposure to negativity in all aspects of life you will be happier regardless of your religion and beliefs.

Historia
It’s February 1976, and Odessa, Texas, stands on the cusp of the next great oil boom. While the town’s men embrace the coming prosperity, its women intimately know and fear the violence that always seems to follow. In the early hours of the morning after Valentine’s Day, 14-year-old Gloria Ramírez appears on the front porch of Mary Rose Whitehead’s ranch house, broken and barely alive. The teenager had been viciously attacked in a nearby oil field - an act of brutality that is tried in the churches and barrooms of Odessa before it can reach a court of law.

Pass on this one. Total waste of time
Revisado: 06-19-20
Watch one episode of dateline. This book covers about 15 minutes of a dateline episode. The story was poorly told. A lot of extra nonsense in the book that didn’t propel the story forward. The publishing company obviously did not review the work before they published it. Don’t waste your time on this one go to the next one immediately.

Historia
FBI Agent Emmy Dockery is absolutely relentless. She's young and driven, and her unique skill at seeing connections others miss has brought her an impressive string of arrests. But a shocking new case - unfolding across the country - has left her utterly baffled. The victims all appear to have died by accident, and have seemingly nothing in common. But this many deaths can't be coincidence. And the killer is somehow one step ahead of every move Dockery makes. How? To FBI Special Agent Harrison "Books" Bookman, everyone in the FBI is a suspect - particularly Emmy Dockery.

Ending completely ridiculous
Revisado: 09-02-19
Please do not waste your time. The storyline did not progress according to modern mystery books. The story completely robbed the reader of determining the motive, to include clues and deductive reasoning. James Patterson should be embarrassed of himself by putting his name on someone else's work.

Historia
Narrator Dan Stevens ( Downton Abbey) presents an uncanny performance of Mary Shelley's timeless gothic novel, an epic battle between man and monster at its greatest literary pitch. In trying to create life, the young student Victor Frankenstein unleashes forces beyond his control, setting into motion a long and tragic chain of events that brings Victor to the very brink of madness. How he tries to destroy his creation, as it destroys everything Victor loves, is a powerful story of love, friendship, scientific hubris, and horror.

Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

Not bad but a bit drawn out

the overall story was decent. However there was a lot of unnecessary information that made the story about 3 hours longer than necessary.
