My Testament: Worst Book Ever

I cannot possibly express how horrible this book was. yeards ago I did enjoy The Handmaids Tale. But this mess of a novel was inscrutable, nonsensical and downright annoying. Nothing made sense. Nothing was explicable. Even at the ending, nothing was revealed which could give the reader a minute clue. Please do not waste your time with this atrocity. Horrible! Shame on Atwood for cashing in on her former success. A hellatious, lazy and frustrating experience. Just beyond awful.

This is the third book I have read by this author. Grossly disappointing.. The various plot lines are totally disjointed. until the very end, which is finally informed and and quite enjoyable. However, getting through the story is laborious, tedious and frustrating. Boring!

I rarely waste time writing negative reviews, but I am compelled to warn others off this hideous book. It is ironic that the synopsis warns the reader that when he believes he knows what is going on that he will be mistaken repeatedly - the regrettable truth is that the reader will NOT know any better when the story ends. This book is convoluted and makes leaps that are utterly indecipherabe. Notably, there are two authors - caveat emptor!
