Loved the book, fun story good read.
Yep, vulgar dolphins & some seriously smart cats…but no dogs, of course. Wil Wheaton is excellent as ever (beats Scott Brick hands down for Audible narration).

I absolutely loved this book! Suzanne Allain’s fun visit to the Regency period was excellent, I look forward to many more. One of my new favorite authors.
Elizabeth Knowelden does a great job capturing the essence of the Regency style.

What a great short story!!

I highly recommend this Audible book short story. 5 Stars!
Jodi Taylor has done a brilliant job with this short story. She included great details, builds good anticipation and a great conclusion!
The Ordeal of the Haunted Room is perfect as a stand-alone adventure, yet has included a nice little gem to tie into the primary Chronicles of St. Mary’s storyline. And it should be noted that Zara Ramm has once again performed exceptionally. (Zara’s narration from the beginning of the St. Mary’s Chronicles series is like the “voice” or “instrument” to Jodi’s enjoyable writing. They go together like hand and glove!)
We’re looking forward to the next short stories and books in this series!

This is a perfect companion to the favorite Cat stories!
Not sure if it was editing or the current audio file on Audible but periodically sound would get a lower thinner pitch, but usually come back up to Chris Timothy’s voice back to normal.
Timothy is the absolute best embodiment of James Herriot’s books, stories and the Television series “All Creatures Great and Small” (BBC).
The nice thing about these stories is they are stories from the original books, but with very little of the day to day life; and center on these particular high points of the dog stories.
Don’t let the sound quality put you off this Audible book, it would be 5 stars if some of the audio didn’t fluctuate.
