Historia
All she wanted was to improve her skills when it came to the C.I was the girl next door…with a few extra pounds. My job was demanding and kept me on my toes, but when I was deep in a case, it left me little time for relationships. And because of that, I had some complaints in the bedroom.

CADE AND RAYNE
Revisado: 08-10-23
I received this audio book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.
This is a brother's best friend book. I absolutely loved the story. I like the way the narrators give their versions of how each character sounds. This story was easy to follow and is filled with various bedroom antics to keep the listener entertained with rapt attention. A story that most would love to read and hear.

I was a basic bitch. My job was fast-paced, stressful, and a time suck, but I loved it. What I didn’t love was there was little time for the best kind of stress relief. I was looking for a little D in my life. Okay, I was looking for a big D, but only for a limited time. Because I needed three things. I needed someone who didn’t know me professionally. I needed nothing but casual, and, most importantly, I needed to come.

VIVIAN AND DOMINICK
Revisado: 04-11-23
I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.
I read the book and couldn’t wait to hear the audio version. The narrators are good at their rendition although I would have loved more emotion from the female narrator. This is a wonderful story whether you read it or listen to it. I still love the way that Dominick realizes that he is family oriented but doesn’t want to become a parent to honor Vivian’s wishes.

Yet Deen can't just drop everything to go live in the mountains, and Nico can't abandon them. After a taste of being together, how can they face a future apart?

BROTHERS BY BOND
Revisado: 09-06-22
This collection is a culmination of seven stories about six boys who became friends once they realized they were gay and remained friends throughout their adulthood and the men they meet that make them realize that they don’t have to be single for their entirety.
1. NICO AND DEAN – EX-ASTRONAUT FOREST RANGER AND ROCK STAR
2. BLAINE AND FALCON – ZOO VET AND ARTIST
3. ROMAN AND OSCAR – AIRLINE PILOT AND DANCER
4. DUSTIN AND LEO – FORENSIC LAB TECH AND PHOTOGRAPHER
5. TYLER AND ALEK – RACECAR DRIVER AND PHYSICAL THERAPIST
6. JOSH AND EVAN – DUDE RANCHER AND MARKETER
These stories have a secret, non-understanding parents, understanding parents, mentally abusive parents and exes, along with antagonistic and homophobic co-workers. I love the way these men overcame their problems and self-doubts to find and match up with their mates who didn’t seem likely for them.
The collection ends with a contribution by each character to Nico and Dean's wedding. It showed how each person and couple did their utmost to make the wedding perfect.
I love the narrator’s voice and the different inflections he used to make the listener understand the characters and their hang-ups. His voice kept me interested and feeling how the character felt. A great story and a great narration.

ALEKSEI (ALEK) AND BELLERON (BELL)
Revisado: 07-25-22
This is the second book in the Prophesy series. Alek is plagued with several entities within himself. Belleron, also known as Bell, is Alek’s fated mate and the best friend of Wick, Alek’s older brother Justice’s fated mate. While Alek fights with his entities, his wolf, himself and the demon Wrath, Bell leaves for England on a mission for Wick. Alek needs to find his way back to normal. This story is about what Alek finds out about himself and his entities and how Alek finds his way back to being one with them. Bell helps Alek find his way as Alek struggles to keep Bell alive. This is the second book in the Prophesy series.
The narrator for this book is better than the one in book one and makes the story more intriguing. He has a wonderful voice that fits the characters perfectly; especially Wrath’s voice.

Historia
Justice Volkov is the youngest Alpha Zenith to ever lead the wolf shifters. Following in his father's large paw prints was a responsibility he met head on. As a direct descendant of the original Siberian pack, his wolf is bigger and stronger than Justice himself is sometimes able to control. As the Vampire King, Chadwick "Wick" Bentley has no choice but to get his species back in line before they cause anymore chaos. Wick has had nothing but time up to this point. He doesn't feel the need to make issues pressing. Nothing is urgent in his life. Until he meets Justice. His beloved.

JUSTICE AND CHADWICK (WICK)
Revisado: 07-24-22
This is the first story in the trilogy about a family of Siberian alpha wolves who are prophesized to protect the world when the shifters need them the most. Wick is the vampire king who turns out to be Justice’s, the alpha zenith, the most powerful wolf shifter in existence, fated mate. Justice and Wick realize that their bonding makes them able to different things that they didn’t know about, making them a more powerful union to save the shifters from the shifter factions that are trying to undermine the uniting of the shifters and sell them out to scientists.
The narration of this story was great. You could tell when each character spoke and the narrator kept the flow of the story going without a hitch.

ZURI AND THE NOT-SO-REAL WORLD
Revisado: 05-12-22
I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Zuri is an ambitious woman who wants to make a life for herself in the town of VainGlory, where everyone is thought to be the best of the best. This story reminds me of the social media people trying to make a name for themselves without knowing that their lives are being manipulated by dreams and non-reality. Their way to fame is to use other people’s dreams and their mosaics, parts of their lives that they made for themselves. I like the way the story ends with Zuri seeing parts of reality and not knowing if she will ever find her true self again.

Historia
At only 32, Bishop Stockley has lived a hard-knock life. After doing five years in a federal prison, Bishop is back at his dad's trailer and working for his landscaping company, thrust into a legit world where he's no longer the alpha - a world where a criminal record is the least of his disadvantages, because Bishop can't read or write. Bishop already had the deck stacked against him, but he wasn't afraid of hard work to change his situation. Especially after he encountered Edison Scala, a kind-spirited office manager who didn't hesitate to come to his defense...

BISHOP FINDS EDISON AND STARTS TO OVERCOME HIS HAN
Revisado: 01-30-22
Bishop is an ex-convict, who was sentenced for a crime he was guilty by association for. His trial showed that he was illiterate, which led to him getting a lighter sentence but his illiteracy was a damning factor for him. Edison is a book lover and the head manager of a bankruptcy law firm. I love the way Trent and Bishop’s father have his back and keep him in the know and out of trouble. This story is filled with information about Bishop and Edison’s problems growing up. It is a refreshing read and gives insight into some of the convicts have to face when released from prison.

Historia
It's been a long 17 years but Herschel Wood, Jr., is finally a free man and he's looking forward to reconnecting with his old cellmate, Bishop Stockley, who promised him a place to stay and some help getting back on his feet. Trent Armstrong has never been considered a catch. He's a 29-year-old laborer, an ex-con, and not the easiest person to get along with. He's used to being the one people cast to the side when they're done with him. Everyone he's ever cared about has walked out of his life without a backward glance, so he's used to the loneliness.

WOOD FINDS REDEMPTION WITH TRENT
Revisado: 01-22-22
Wood (Herschel Wood, Jr.) is an ex-con who spent seventeen years in prison for vehicular manslaughter, which in reality was an accident. He was accused of being drunk when the accident occurred. He meets his new roommate, Trent, who is a foul-mouthed younger man. Trent has abandonment issues and would prefer to drive people away before he gets attached to them. I love the way Trent stands by Wood in his darkest hour and I love the way Wood stands up for them in Trent’s hours of indecision and misconstruing of Wood and his ex, Adam. A happily ever after to be happy for.
The narration is good and the narrator makes the listener know which characters are speaking by the way he changes his tones to entice the listener deeper into the story.

SIMON GIVES CHRISTMAS TO CHRISTOPHER’S FAMILY
Revisado: 11-18-21
Simon is an aristocrat in the 1840s. Christopher is an actor who is trying to make money to buy the family’s children Christmas presents. They are both gay and find a way to reveal a card cheat and have a tryst in Simon’s club, which Christopher has crashed. This is a cute M/M version of Dickens’s A Christmas Carol. A lovely story of how life for the gay community was in the 19th century.
The narration is in a proper English tone and makes one think they are in Merry Old England as the story unfolds.

Historia
What has been missing from the daring tales of fairy tale heroes is quite simply some heft. In Burly Tales, Lambda Literary Award-winning editor Steve Berman has gathered a dozen stories of whimsy and romance that feature gay men with plenty of curves and fur. Run away with us to enchanted woods, where the cubs and bears are not going to eat you (not without informed, enthusiastic consent), where no one will judge if you take up residence in a house with seven bearded men and only one bed.

A COLLECTION OF M/M FRACTURED FAIRY TALES
Revisado: 10-08-21
Even though I couldn’t recognize some of the fairy tales, I enjoyed them. The ones I could recognize had a pleasant twist to them with HEAs all around. I recognized the Snow White, the Grimm’s tale about the hidden room and several others. It was a delight to hear these stories with their twists.
The narration and the voice changes were wonderful.
