Historia
When Edward Cullen and Bella Swan met in Twilight, an iconic love story was born. But until now, fans have heard only Bella's side of the story. At last, listeners can experience Edward's version in the long-awaited companion novel, Midnight Sun. This unforgettable tale as told through Edward's eyes takes on a new and decidedly dark twist. Meeting Bella is both the most unnerving and intriguing event he has experienced in all his years as a vampire.

should she get by with writing the same story?
Revisado: 09-02-20
seen it before & thought it a cheat but who would not want to hear Edward loving Bella? he didn't sleep, giving him an opportunity to never have his mind off of her being. yes, that could go so bad but it didn't. of course, I don't know if I want the author to treat each book in the series like this, but she will figure it out.. I'm sure her checkbook will help her decide.

where is Stone?
Revisado: 05-29-18
I don't like Stone as much as I use to, before the 8 million houses etc. his best friend is not anywhere in this book. stop putting Stone's name on it if he isn't even close to being the main character. the start of the series was the start of the fun.

I've realized I love it more each time I hear it.
Revisado: 01-30-18
I've never enjoyed the voice in the character's head the way I enjoyed Ellen's (but enjoyed was only the word I found not the one want I so wanted to past on to you). today I know this is my favorite book ever, which surprised me. it' just, all there for me. I viewed my mother at a 180 degree turn because of this book (movie wasn't back either).

Historia
Virgil knows the town of Trippton, Minnesota, a little too well. A few years back, he investigated the corrupt - and, as it turned out, homicidal - local school board, and now the town's back in view with more alarming news: A woman's been found dead, frozen in a block of ice. There's a possibility that it might be connected to a high school class of 20 years ago that has a midwinter reunion coming up, and so, wrapping his coat a little tighter, Virgil begins to dig into 20 years' worth of traumas, feuds, and bad blood.

Historia
Court Gentry is known as The Gray Man—a legend in the covert realm, moving silently from job to job, accomplishing the impossible, and then fading away. And he always hits his target. But there are forces more lethal than Gentry in the world. And in their eyes, Gentry has just outlived his usefulness. Now, he is going to prove that for him, there's no gray area between killing for a living-and killing to stay alive.

my mistake.
Revisado: 02-28-17
Has The Gray Man turned you off from other books in this genre?
I didn't like spy novels before I listened to this & it didn't change my mind. purchased in error.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
he was not at all hard to listen to
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
no
Any additional comments?
I manager to buy a genre I don't enjoy (a spy story), it is just not my thing. if I'm stuck hearing implausible it should be about Jack Reacher, Spenser, Elvis Cole, Harry Bosch or Lucas Davenport.

horrible reader
Revisado: 02-18-17
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
while Gene Engene reads I realize I'm often am not listening. this is the 10th book but his reading has been bad from book #1. I met J P mid series with a very good reader & ordered the series from book #1 up to the cd's I already had. if I had known how Gene's reading would reduce my enjoyment I think I would have skipped J P's early years.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
I can't begin to explain!

wrong reader.
Revisado: 02-14-17
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
just barely. I fell in deep like with J. P. in the middle of this series. because of Audible I was able to hear about him from the beginning. the reader, at least, through the first 5 books is so disappointing in comparison to the reader that helped me wanted to know more about J. P.
What did you like best about this story?
J. P. is a grump with a very big heart. he doesn't want to leave anyone behind. he's there for the underdog.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
the reader was boring. he makes J. P. sound so harsh in comparison to the reader I remember. I've spent too much time hoping that the next book in the series would have a new reader.
Do you think Improbable Cause needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
I know future books (# 6 ?) with J. P. are coming my way with a different reader & I can't wait to hear him..

Historia
A pretty, popular teenager never returned from her secret tryst in Skeleton Canyon. Perhaps it was a youthful rage or savage passion that ripped the life from a child of privilege and abandoned her broken body to the cold Arizona night. Or maybe she stumbled onto something terrible, something too dangerous to know. Now dark secrets about a future hideously destroyed are pulling Sheriff Joanna Brady of Cochise County into a lethal nest of lies and greed.

the reader disappointed me greatly.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
the story was on par with other Joanna Brady stories but the reading was very poor. prior books were read by Hillary Huber who spoiled me with her readings
