Narration was terrible
Revisado: 09-19-23
I’ve never given a bad review before but I couldn’t finish this book. So, it’s not fair for me to comment on the story itself. The narrator was truly terrible. She sounded out of breath the entire time I could stand to listen. Sorry to have to give this review.

Historia
Olivia McAfee knows what it feels like to start over. Her picture-perfect life—living in Boston, married to a brilliant cardiothoracic surgeon, raising their beautiful son, Asher—was upended when her husband revealed a darker side. She never imagined that she would end up back in her sleepy New Hampshire hometown, living in the house she grew up in and taking over her father’s beekeeping business. Lily Campanello is familiar with do-overs, too. When she and her mom relocate to Adams, New Hampshire, for her final year of high school, they both hope it will be a fresh start.

Don’t bother
Revisado: 03-21-23
The story line is boring, sadly. Also, the book has agenda, which is fine if you’re looking for that subject matter. I wanted to like this book because I do like the author.

Not for me
Revisado: 03-06-23
The story line was not captivating enough for a thriller. It had moments, but overall it just wasn’t engaging.
