One for Miss Marple fans!

Would you consider the audio edition of Death on the Aegean Queen to be better than the print version?
I have not read the print version, but I think the narrator did a very good job, little touches of accent really worked well and characters were easily identifiable.
Would you recommend Death on the Aegean Queen to your friends? Why or why not?
Yes, for those who enjoy Agatha Raisin or Agatha Christie this is a perfect choice.
What about Karen Krause’s performance did you like?
As mentioned above, the style and accents were great.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No, I don't think it's that type of story though to be honest. It's quite easy listening.
Any additional comments?
An enjoyable read.

Excellent writing, superb narration

If you could sum up Diary of a Small Fish in three words, what would they be?
Clever, engaging and entertaining
What was one of the most memorable moments of Diary of a Small Fish?
Not really a moment but the on/off build up of feelings between Paul and Shannon was handled, and told, beautifully.
What about Keith Sellon-Wright’s performance did you like?
Totally perfect for this book, this genre and in particular these characters. Makes the audiobook experience so much better when the narrator is a perfect fit.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
I think the title of the book would be spot on. Or maybe ... In the would of golf and politics, trust no one.
Oh and I'd choose Tom Cruise to play Paul Forte ( in the style of Jerry Maguire !)
Any additional comments?
Highly recommended. An author snapping at the coat tails of Grisham and deservedly so.

Bringing the past to life through audio
Revisado: 12-17-14
Would you consider the audio edition of The Rise of Zenobia to be better than the print version?
I have read and loved the print version of this book also, and have to say the audio adaptation really took the story to another level. I think the narrator did a brilliant job with the characters. The voices were just as I had imagined them in my head. And listening to the book, rather than reading it, seemed to transport me to the location.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Bamdad! The voice was wonderful, and although he was probably my favourite character when I read the book, I was delighted with the narrator's handling of him. Brilliant!
What does Paul Hodgson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I think because for me you listen to longer spells of the story - maybe in the car or on a train journey - than I would if I read - you become much more involved and immersed in the story. The characters become real. I do feel with this kind of historical fiction, audio is a fantastic choice.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed at a lot of Bamdad's parts!
Any additional comments?
Can't recommend this highly enough, the marriage of a talented writer and equally talented narrator has resulted in a real joy here.
