Don Lemon is an excellent communicator; however, if I was a white racist I wouldn't be influenced to change any of my views that were anti-black. I would still be a racist.

I think that the final chapter was the strongest. I was waiting for a blind spot in the story that may sway me to believe that “whites” as a group would leave understanding the main issues with blacks and a reason to want to be around them.

Colorism is is a big issue in the black community. Let's start with that and do a deeper dive next time. Overall great job if I was new to the dance.

A dialectic on the State of the Union

Dr. Cornel attempts to break down the structure of democracy by point the finger back at the crack in the bell in Philadelphia as if it has stopped cracking. The culture of democracy doesn’t work as it should for everyone, especially the black and brown in this country.
All social movements begin with the notion to correct a weakness in this country.

He does a great job in explaining the use of music, in hip hop culture, as a poetic essay of how rappers explain the world thru their eyes using language and song to identify the “ills” of society.

What made the experience of listening to Living a Course in Miracles the most enjoyable?

Jon Mundy, really puts the Course of Miracles in a working mantra for everyone. I am truly convinced that if this mode was taught in the public school systems in the U.S., that we would have a much better country to live in....A Course in Miracles should be mandatory at all educational institutions.

What did you like best about this story?

The story behind the story....the examples which helped clarify his statements and the course of miracles.

Have you listened to any of Jon Mundy Ph.D.’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The entire series was great. I would love to hear more of his text in audible.

Audible.com is perhaps my 2013 greatest adoption of ways to get information. Thank you for the series of books that you have published.

All Prayers shouldn't be answered

When God Doesn't Answer Your Prayer(s) gives the reader the direction that should be explained in the earlier stages of life where some are taught to pray for what you want. Most of the time the energy that goes into those prayers are self serving. This book explains the depth of when and how prayers are answered and not answered because the prayer is not worthy.
