Historia
When Ren Landis goes looking for excitement on her 21st birthday, getting kidnapped is a little more than she bargained for. So is finding out that shifters exist - and that she's one, too. As the last of the dragon shifters, she's got a role to fulfill: Take the alphas of the four shifter groups as her mates and unite all shifter kind. No pressure, right? Too bad Ren's fate isn't as simple as getting it on with four scorching-hot men.

If you listen at this speed the female narration is not all that bad. Her voice is more bearable. However when she says Dragon, I cannot help but snicker. Overall the story is good. The performance is good. And the story is good. I definitely wanted to keep knowing more and more as the books went on.

Historia
I thought I'd found a way to destroy the malicious power Roseborne College held over all its students - but I seem to have unleashed a host of fresh horrors, instead. The school's ruling spirits are flying free, even more intent on tormenting us. Visions from the worst moments of our pasts are stalking us like ghosts, and my foster brother may have fallen too far into his monstrous nature to be saved.

Good story although. . .
Revisado: 12-03-20
This story is good. Suspenseful and heartbreaking a roller coaster of a ride. Although, Trixie has orange hair; right? And before that purple. So why is she depicted on the cover as a red head? Only issue i have with the whole series.

Historia
Afterlife...just some gothic nightclub where gossip is fuelled by the presence of a rich and unearthly, handsome family or afterlife...the strange place where time seems to stand still and guests feel the presence of something more powerful held within the confines of the VIP. Keira is new to this small, cold town and is running from a past that seems to feast on her darkest memories. She finds living with her sister away from English soil to be just the ticket to the new life she is trying desperately to find.

Bad narration, Good story
Revisado: 10-24-20
I have to say the story is really good. I just hope someone re does the narration. She cannot change between genders very well, and she sounds very young. Also to top it all off she is chewing gum the whole time. Listen closely; you can even here her gulp and move it around in her mouth. It makes my stomach turn. I have done plenty of over the phone type work and every single time was told never to chew gum. And now I know why. Ugh it is so gross.
She cannot recreate an American accent. She is to English. It sounds bad and forced. And it makes me, as an American cringe. I just do not know how the author is okay with the narrater. She cannot change her voice, or do any other accent that doesn't derive from an English one. It makes it really hard to focus on the story. There are plenty of other narrators that should have been chosen. The Author should have imminently had her swapped out. If she even listened to it before it was published. I want to finish, but sadly I cannot. Not with this narrator. I cannot hear the narrator sigh unexpectedly and swallow spit due to the gum chewing any longer. Makes me feel she didn't even want this gig. I have 6 hours left on this first book, and just can't. To it super gross and very unprofessional.
