Historia
On Christmas Day in 1893, every man, woman, and child in a remote mining town disappeared, belongings forsaken, meals left to freeze in vacant cabins, and not a single bone found. Now, journalist Abigail Foster and her historian father have set out to explore the long-abandoned town and learn what happened. With them are two backcountry guides—along with a psychic and a paranormal photographer who are there to investigate rumors that the town is haunted.

Very confusing
Revisado: 03-21-23
Really like Blake Crouch’s other books, this one was not interesting and hard to keep track of what was happening. Couldn’t finish the book.

Historia
In a future so real and near it might be now, something happens when women go to sleep: They become shrouded in a cocoon-like gauze. If they are awakened, if the gauze wrapping their bodies is disturbed or violated, the women become feral and spectacularly violent; and while they sleep they go to another place.... The men of our world are abandoned, left to their increasingly primal devices. One woman, however, the mysterious Evie, is immune to the blessing or curse of the sleeping disease.

Boring Storyline.
Revisado: 11-06-17
I absolutely hated this book. I’m a big Stephen King fan, but this collaboration with his son Owen was just not what I have expected from the master of horror. Very disappointing.

Hated the reader
Revisado: 03-30-15
Book 3 of the series continues the storyline well from the first 2 books. But I hated the reader for this book. Read too fast and didn't perform the characters as well as the reader from the first two books.

Horrible!
Revisado: 12-29-14
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
No one. Loved previous "Private" audiobooks, but this one was impossible too follow and understand the narration.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Amerjit Deu and Raj Ghatak ?
Someone without such a heavy Indian accent. Impossible to understand.
Any additional comments?
Please re-release with a different narrator. I should have belived the reviews I read before buying. It really is as bad as was stated by others.
