Really liked the real world examples and would love to have read more. This book was helpful for sparking ideas and making change seem easy. It’s not super in depth or technical and that was appreciated.

The underlying concepts are intriguing and pretty well aligned (imo) with modern concepts around not judging others, self love, living for yourself, etc. However, like the author stated in the concluding chapter, there are Adlerian statements that on the surface can be rather jarring/unsettling. I also found the youth character annoying but again, if you listen for the underlying concepts (and ignore the part about trauma not existing - a concept that has been thoroughly debunked in the last 20 years), the book can be intriguing in ways and freeing in others.

Fantastically written. Amazing story. It just felt really long at times but if you get through it, it’s worth it.

Would you consider the audio edition of Killing Lincoln to be better than the print version?

Never saw the print version - but I found listening to it seemed more intense - and therefore, more enjoyable.

What did you like best about this story?

My interest was held with this story. There were a lot of interesting details and back stories to each of the figures.

What does Bill O'Reilly bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He was fine - didn't love or hate him.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was "on the edge of my seat" with excitement. Great for a car ride.
