Historia
Growing a perfect moustache, grilling red meat, wooing a woman - who better to deliver this tutelage than the always charming, always manly Nick Offerman, best known as Parks and Recreation's Ron Swanson? Combining his trademark comic voice and very real expertise in woodworking - he runs his own woodshop - Paddle Your Own Canoe features tales from Offerman's childhood in small-town Minooka, Illinois, to his theater days in Chicago, beginnings as a carpenter/actor and the hilarious and magnificent seduction of his now-wife Megan Mullally.

Excellent performance, story was disappointing
Revisado: 03-23-23
Was looking forward to this story, hoping to hear an enriching story about life. Was disappointed when the first part of the book was about belittling followers of the Christian faith, then following that up with “you all should believe in something” later on. That didn’t connect. Lots of swearing throughout, as well as a lot of using the name of a Diety that was claimed to not exist as a swear word. I was confused again - but still listened to the story hoping to hear more about woodworking rather than sexual exploits. That didn’t work out for me either -
Still, there were a couple good nuggets to pull out, and I was impressed by his vocabulary. Still was disappointed to have to listen through all the other drivel to pull out what was probably 30 min of a good story from the whole book in my opinion.
Vocal performance was masterful. If you like hearing Ron Swanson from P&R talk you won’t be disappointed. Just get ready for all the words you can’t say on television to hit you like that submerged rock in the stream hitting your freshly varnished craft

Historia
Find your "critical 20%" and transform your time - and life - forever! The 80/20 principle - also known as the Pareto principle - is the well-verified observation that in business, economics, and life generally, about 80 percent of all results flow from a mere 20 percent of our efforts. In this thought-provoking and highly informative program, Richard Koch unveils the secrets to how this mysterious but practical principle actually works... how it is affecting your life right now... and how you can start using it to your advantage.

Good information
Revisado: 03-23-23
Just because it is simple doesn’t mean it isn’t hard - great principle and good information to chew through.
I listened while driving, the speaker was interesting to listen to but dropped the ends of his sentences so it was hard to hear some of the points without yo-yo-ing the volume on the road.

Good info, long listen
Revisado: 02-10-23
Great ideas to ponder, good resources, knowledge base was very credible (trustworthy!). Feel like it could have been half the length and still been just as effective, but still a recommended book
