I was really waiting for this book!

I did not really like the narration at first, it was a little hard to follow the speaking style, but I got used to it.
So, I finished "in the evening and the morning" and I did not enjoy it and I did some skipping ahead in some chapters towards the end cause I found it so frustrating. It's basically a conga line of trauma for the good guys and the bad guys get away with everything for most of the story and then in the last few chapters the good guys get a kinda happy ending, but I wouldn't say they win cause they have all that trauma to carry with them and none of the bad guys were ever brought to justice. Now I'm going to pick another book.

very good Dickens drama

I liked all the stories, but found it hard to understand what's going on right away in Pickwick papers and Barnaby ridge. the American accents in Martin chuzzlewitt were ridiculous.

It's ok

I'm not a fan of horror or dark fantasy so I didn't like the rape and child abuse. The other stories with Morpheus were ok tho. Some of the voices sounded cartoonish and were kind of annoying. I wish Michael sheen had a bigger role, lovely voice. I really didn't need to listen an hour by hour recounting of the torture in the diner. I skipped some of it. This is my first experience with Neil gaiman stories after good omens, so I didn't know what to expect but I heard it was good. I probably won't be listening to it again tho.

I love some of the actors voicing the parts, such as David Tennant, and Benedict Cumberbatch. the only thing is I keep wondering why the Thorpe in northanger Abbey sounds like a 50 yr old smoker when he's supposed to be a college student.
