Historia
Aelar, a mighty nation, spreads its tentacles. Its oared galleys storm the seas, and the waters run red with blood. Its legionaries swarm desert ruins, smiting barbarian hordes. Its crosses line the roadsides, displaying the dying flesh of heroes. The powerful Sela family has avoided the empire until now. The family has carved out an idyllic life between sea and desert, ruling a bustling port, a thriving city, and lush vineyards.

Flawed plot characters
Revisado: 01-21-21
ridiculous story. the legion and empire obviously based on the Romans. why would trebuchets be on ships hurling flaming munitions. they would set their own ships on fire. seige towers build in a day? even worse tunneling under walls or building a seige ramp in a couple of days. that could not even be done in weeks with modern machinery. imperial troops emerging from tunnels with their tower shields. the shields wouldn't fit. author makes a great deal about the discipline of the troops but the first thing they do coming through the tunnels is run around and pillage instead of seizing and opening the gates? the author tried to make the hero honorable and give him the moral high ground. he was nothing but weak and stupid and deserved to die. the whole concept of bringing thousands of slaves seized 20 years ago back to attack their homeland is also completely ridiculous. the whole family just needs to die.

Great plots, Great characters.
Revisado: 01-14-21
the rules do not stray far from established zombie canon from romero's works and TWD. some topics it deals with pretty well is the isolation of a sole survivor. the weaknesses I find in are in the writers attempts at trying to show knowledge of weapons. one puzzling aspect of the zombie filled world is the lack of real common firearms and instead filling the world with sawnoff shotguns. this is laughable to most people with knowledge of firearms. the stories are good and are an enjoyable listen.

just ok
Revisado: 06-21-19
story was ok but I hated the reader. the accent made the book annoying to listen to. the worst was her constant mispronouncing of the word quay.

Historia
As a child, Chris Hooper dreamed of monsters. But in deep space, he found only darkness and isolation. Then, on planet LV178, he and his fellow miners discovered a storm-scoured, sand-blasted hell - and trimonite, the hardest material known to man. When a shuttle crashes into the mining ship Marion, the miners learn that there was more than trimonite deep in the caverns. There was evil, hibernating and waiting for suitable prey.

worth the listen for any aliens fan
Revisado: 01-11-19
riveting story, hard to put aside. voice acting and sound effects were as good as on a Hollywood soundstage on a major movie. best of all was the writing and portrayal of Allen Ripley's character. you could imagine it was Sigourney Weaver battling the xenomorphs.
