What if you could start building wealth in real estate today—without needing stacks of cash or years of experience? Picture this: flipping manufactured homes with zero money down, faster than you can say “side hustle,” and turning a profit that could fund your next big adventure. It’s not a pipe dream—it’s a proven system that works, even if you’ve never dealt with real estate before.

Short book jam packed with great ideas
Revisado: 04-25-25
This book is a very brief but powerful plan for developing lots with manufactured homes for absolute beginners. I listened to its entire 1 hour 45 minute run time on a drive and liked it so much I had to sit down the next day and listen to it again, taking notes the whole time.
Experienced real estate investors may be disappointed that it doesn’t go deeper into detail, but I think the book’s brevity is its strength. It provides enough information and clear instructions to both arm and motivate the listener to go out and look at lots and homes immediately after reading. The best thing is that many will gain enough confidence from the book to start their career as a land developer almost as quickly!
Additionally, the book’s audio quality was excellent. Paul Whiting’s narration is very polished, warm, conversational and confident. The old time piano was also quaint and charming.
The only down side to the audiobook is that listeners won’t have the print book to go back to and review as they follow Whiting’s advice. I may buy the book just for future reference.
Highly recommend for both beginners as a field manual and seasoned investors for continuing education.

Featuring a foreword by Dr. Jerrry Pournelle, A History of Strategy: From Sun Tzu to William S. Lind begins with the Chinese military literature, then reviews the Greek, Roman, and Byzantine works before proceeding to the Middle Ages. From Machiavelli and Montecuccoli to Guibert and Frederick the Great, van Creveld chronicles the gradual transition from medieval to Napoleonic warfare and onward into the nuclear age and the rise of ISIS.

Great overview with only a few omissions

Very well done! It goes through a great deal of history in 4 hours, but very competently. Van Creveld does omit some great modern strategists but that is unavoidable in such a short book.
I'm well read in strategy but learned much, mainly from Crevelds take on the strategists and how they relate to each other. Plus the short length makes it easy to commit to.
Very lively performance as well.
Great work!
Also great
