I find his podcast and his books very enlightening. Ironically I never fully appreciated his humour until now. Speaking truth to power is important in today's times. Thank you D.L. Hughley for telling the truth and for doing it in a way that makes us laugh.

A Legend and National Treasure

My childhood is filled with memories of Cicely Tyson creating memorable characters on the small screen. She was the embodiment of grace and excellence. I was well into adulthood before I realized that she was much younger than the 110 year old character she created in The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman. She brought characters to life and made you believe! I watched what would become her last interview wherein she discussed this memoir. I chose this version so that I could hear her tell it in her own voice. RIP Miss Cicely Tyson. Thank you for sharing your gifts and enriching our world.

This is my third time revisiting The Autobiography of Malcolm X. The reading by Laurence Fishburne enriches the experience. The added bonus of the jazz interludes only adds to the ambience. Don't wait-- buy it now!

I read this book in three days during my morning walks. It only confirmed my deepest fears about this current President: he is incompetent. Take it from a family member who knows him and is qualified to analyze his behavior. Get the book and listen for yourself!

Game Changer

When Hal Elrod confessed that he was originally a night person and snoozer I knew that I could trust his advice. He has led an extraordinary life. So when he says mornings change your life I thought that I would give it a shot. I am listening to the Millionaire Miracle version while still implementing the Life SAVERS. I'm on day 6 of the 30 day challenge. What I like most is that Hal makes it easy to get started. The Fast Start materials are free online. I am still not a morning person yet but I do enjoy getting up early to exercise and journal. I'm creating a new life one morning at a time. it works!

Darren Hardy rocks!

I've been listening to "Darren Daily" podcasts for a few days and felt so motivated that I thought I would get the audiobook. I was pleased to see that he also narrates it. This is a plus as his enthusiasm is infectious. I have also adopted Darren's "Sunday Planning System" and suffice it to say, I am much more focused on my goals as a result. The clarity has a great motivating effect and I am moving forward at a sure and steady pace! Thank you, Darren Hardy!
