The book did draw me in while passing the time on a road trip. I did like the point of view from the three different characters. The endings felt a little rushed. The narration was pretty good.

Suspenseful until the end!

Well, I did not enjoy this book as much as the first two in the series, they were great, this one was good. I had a little trouble connecting with the main character Carter, but eventually was able to see where he was coming from. I did not find this storyline predictable. I was able to put it together at the end when Ellis was wrapping everything up. I would recommend. The narration was great!

Was surprised at the ending

What can I say? I was definitely surprised at the ending, but this book left me wanting. The characters were not believable and how quickly they fell in. “love. “I am not a quitter, so I finished the book but I really wanted to drop out halfway through. Narration was great.

I heard about this book and book talk and was happy to support a new author.
The story kept me engaged as there were quite a few twists and turns. I am generally pretty good at figuring out the who done it and did not have any idea until the end. I did feel like the ending was rushed and even though we did find out who done it, there were a few storylines with no conclusions.
I really wanted to like the narrator but At the beginning found her voice very monotone. On a bright note, she did improve as the audiobook went on.
The recording quality at the beginning was fine but the last few chapters turned abysmal. I felt like there was a weird background noise and somebody was listening in.

Loved this book

I have been searching for an engaging book for quite some while and found it in “Broken for you!” It did take me a few chapters to get into the characters but once I did, I was hooked. When I only had an hour left of listening, I was anxiously awaiting how the author would pull everything together. It was a little predictable but satisfying nonetheless.
The narrator was absolutely amazing and a joy to listen to. I will be searching for other books she has narrated.

This was not one of my favorites, the main character was not likable as she had absolutely no spine until the last 15 minutes. Can’t say I would recommend.

Worth the listen

Very happy with my Audible purchase. I am pretty good at figuring out the whodunit fairly early in a story but it was not until the last few chapters that I had an idea who the Canal killer was.

I enjoyed the narration, was surprised to read the reviews of people who did that like her voice. I thought she did a good job.
