Historia
Enemies of Peace literally starts with a bang: an explosion of a house engulfed in flames, captured on video by two teenage girls. In the summer that led up to the explosion, the Hydroline Corporation hired Timothy Lawson and his firm to represent them in a class-action lawsuit. While juggling his caseload, he and his wife Cynthia decide to buy their first house. It should have been the happiest summer of their lives. Nevertheless, their date with death was looming. Who could have possibly done it?

If you know then you know
Revisado: 06-21-23
This was a fun read because there was an unspoken story weaved in between the surface story. I recommend it to all the FI community because they will get it.
All elements of the book and story were good. No complaints.
But the sound quality was poor on the audiobook, and it greatly impacted my ability to fully enjoy the book.
Overall, great story. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Historia
After twelve years of marriage, twenty years together, and four kids, Devale and Khadeen Ellis have been through a lot. They’ve loved their way through a long-distance relationship, financial instability, parenthood, Khadeen’s near-death, and their near-divorce, chronicling their day-to-day life with their boys online. After much trial and error, they hit upon one surprising, essential truth: If you’re looking for a healthy relationship and a fulfilling life, focus on your partner’s needs instead of your wants.

Necessary Read for married couples
Revisado: 05-28-23
This book was an amazing read. It closed the gap on questions I had about the couple after listening to the podcast.
They told a beautiful love story which lead to marriage and children. It included their ups and downs and struggles and triumphs. I definitely realized some issues I had in my marriage while reading this book and was happy for the takeaways they had in each chapter.

Historia
Can’t Hurt Me, David Goggins’ smash hit memoir, demonstrated how much untapped ability we all have but was merely an introduction to the power of the mind. In Never Finished, Goggins takes you inside his Mental Lab, where he developed the philosophy, psychology, and strategies that enabled him to learn that what he thought was his limit was only his beginning and that the quest for greatness is unending.

Amazing and inspiring
Revisado: 05-04-23
The story was amazing and inspirational. And the format of book and podcast is top notch. Adam would ask questions that I thought about while listening to the book.
This book is for anyone who needs a mental push because life has gotten either too comfortable or too hard.

Historia
Travis Barker's soul-baring memoir chronicles the highlights and lowlights of the renowned drummer's art and his life, including the harrowing plane crash that nearly killed him and his traumatic road to recovery. After breaking out as the acclaimed drummer of the multiplatinum punk band Blink-182, everything changed for Travis Barker. But the dark side of rock stardom took its toll: His marriage, chronicled for an MTV reality show, fell apart. Constant touring concealed a serious drug addiction. A reckoning did not truly come until he was forced to face mortality.

Amazing story
Revisado: 12-15-22
This is an amazing story about pain, struggle, rebellion, persistence, perseverance and redemption. Travis Barker embodies all of those traits. Before I read his story, I only knew Travis as a drummer. Now I understand the tortured soul behind the music and now the man, husband and father.

I loved that Chad weaved his personal story in with all of the questions he wanted to ask everyone who had “made it.”
There were so many gems dropped in this podcast.
