Historia
Sydney Green is Brooklyn born and raised, but her beloved neighborhood seems to change every time she blinks. Condos are sprouting like weeds, FOR SALE signs are popping up overnight, and the neighbors she’s known all her life are disappearing. To hold onto her community’s past and present, Sydney channels her frustration into a walking tour and finds an unlikely and unwanted assistant in one of the new arrivals to the block - her neighbor, Theo. But Sydney and Theo’s deep dive into history quickly becomes a dizzying descent into paranoia and fear.

I always wondered what happened to all the people that lived there before, this provides a great explanation.

I think this was a great book overall, the story really resonates with me because I was born and raised in Brooklyn. I moved out of state and every time I return the old neighborhood looks unrecognizable, people that were once scared to walk those streets are now property owners. I enjoyed this book and I look forward to listening to others by this author.

Historia
Now, most people have heard of ADHD and know someone who may have it. But lost in the discussion of both childhood and adult diagnosis of ADHD is the potential upside: Many hugely successful entrepreneurs and highly creative people attribute their achievements to ADHD. Also unknown to most are the recent research developments, including innovations that give a clearer understanding of the ADHD brain in action.

Eye opening

I am almost 50 years old and my wife has been telling me I have ADHD for years, I would just get mad at her and dismiss her. After taking some classes and running out of time before I could finish my exams my counselor said I could get additional time if I qualified for a disability, I started to pay attention to what my wife was saying and I listened to this book and knew she was right.

Thought it was ok but short
Revisado: 07-22-24
This was a short story, it should have been longer. The story should have focused on a few missions not just one.

The second novel set in the Old Republic era and based on the massively multiplayer online game Star Wars: The Old Republic ramps up the action and brings listeners face-to-face for the first time with a Sith warrior to rival the most sinister of the Order’s Dark Lords: Darth Malgus, the mysterious, masked Sith of the wildly popular “Deceived” and “Hope” game trailers. Historia
Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money.
