Hate the narrator

I thought I could get through it - I am still working on it - but the narrator is just awful. I hate how “Duncan” says the name Madelyne. I hate how she says Madelyne’s name in general and I really really hate how she says “her”. I can’t figure out why Anne Flosnick is a narrator. Why would anyone pick her to narrate this book?! Whoever chose her for these books should be ashamed! Anyone would have been better. What a shame they used her on several of Julie Garwoods books. I purchased the other books but now I don’t know if I’ll be able to listen to those either.

I like most of Tessa Dare’s books but just couldn’t get into this one. Didn’t care for Thorne. He pissed me off over and over and over and over again throughout the ENTIRE book. Stop pushing her away CONSTANTLY and she gives up everything?! For him?!?!? Nah. This story seemed to drag on for me. Kate deserved a better story/man. A Week to be Wicked on the other hand - perfection.

This book was very good IMO. Jack was a real d*ck though. His manipulation of Kit passed me off. I wanted her to tell him off for being so sneaky and controlling. To tie her up at that ball and…we’ll whatever it’s still good.

Great series!

Really enjoyed these sassy princesses and their stories. The narrator did a fine job too. These books are the first time I have heard him narrate. Usually it is a male and female but this guy did good! Thumbs up five starts and all that!

Another great one by this author!

This is the second book by this author I have listened to and I really enjoyed it! Great dialogue between the characters and the narrator was great! I am very picky when it comes to the narrator and this gal did a great job. I love it when they do a good woman and man and she did. Highly recommend a listen! Looking forward to hearing Lady Arabella’s story!!!

This was a great listen. Nice to hear a backstory on Westcliffs sisters. Enjoyed both love stories.
Spoiler Alert***
I really did enjoy it but I must say I was rather annoyed it took 10 hours for her to get around to telling him about her scars. 10 HOURS!!!!! I wish it would have been wrapped up sooner and maybe hear about the wedding or weddings or something like that instead of not getting to the happy ending until the very end of the book.

Lovely story!

I was surprised by the negative reviews on this one I was expecting some real unpleasant things but I really enjoyed this story. A little different from the usual storylines and I didn’t find it offensive whatsoever. Another great Lisa Kleypas book! Never listed to this narrator but she did a fine job. I am partial to Roslyn Landers but this was still pretty good.
