This is a very odd story. If you enjoy VC Andrews this is for you if you are grossed out by those books move on. Personally I thought it was just going to be some kind of a plot twist I was wrong. My brain needs a good washing I feel so gross. I wish I had not listened to this story I didn’t read its info prior lesson learned.

Save me from this book!

I haven’t disliked characters this much in a long time. Honestly smothering them with a pillow was a thought. I wasn’t expecting Shakespeare. I was expecting to have a fun and relaxing story like a lot of these types are there is a definite formula to these But the author just kept trying to make the characters so tragic over the smallest things and turn this story Into a therapy session . I truly understand the building of the characters and the will they won’t they and the drama but these characters are just so helpless and the author really did them a disservice.

Not the same old, same old. Fun mysteries. Excellent job with voiceovers and fun development of characters. I hope to hear more from this author and cast.

She fixed the big mistake

I love her books I have relisted and reread all of them several times and my biggest heartache was the loss of that character. I am so glad that has been fixed and her World building is amazing the small details that back up the tale and build the characters. I would love Ivy to end up with somebody better. I was never a big fan as a person she’s with so maybe that can happen now. I would also love to have more stories with Ivy and Jinkx.

Not very well built characters very predictable plot storyline. The world building was a joke. Not even good enough for folding clothes to . I want my time back! How did this get published? I wish the author well and I hope that her future attempts are better.

Really wish it had been better

I wholeheartedly support the author and see what she was trying to accomplish, but it was a little too cookie cutter very safe and really didn’t bring the characters to life. This is a hard demographic to write for I am 54 so I get you don’t have as much to pull from because so many of the topics that motivated character and give it depth has already occurred with these characters because of their age. I really would’ve liked to have seen, her show all the really truly cool things about the later part of a woman’s life. She did try but it never really worked.
