Historia
Pip's life was stricken with tragedy as a small boy, being orphaned with the loss of his mother, father, and siblings. Pip forms a relationship with the odd Miss Havisham and her lovely adopted daughter, Estella. An anonymous benefactor whisks Pip away from the life he once knew and the people he cared for to one of class and high society. When his beloved Estella enters his life once more after many years apart, she denies him the affections he longs for.

Met Every Expectation

Classic, beautiful, amusing, heartbreaking and satisfying story. It was performed with the perfect amount of animation, using a variety of "voices" from the single narrator, that clearly enhanced the story and its nuances. Top notch.

Historia
New York Times best-selling author of Fight Club, which was adapted into a major motion picture, Chuck Palahniuk offers a haunting tale. Winner of the Northwest Booksellers Association Award, Palahniuk is one of the rare literary geniuses who has been able to bridge the gap between a cult following and commercial success.

One of a kind writing and story
Revisado: 02-09-17
A book for Rebels, non-conformists, artists and word lovers. The author once again shows his "punk" (as in punk rock) style, commenting on our wasteful, over consumption, and greed. Some really clever, original material, but a not wholly cohesive or compelling storyline, which I can look past in favor of the book's creativity. Still worth the read, to me, and most likely if you fit the description above.
