This book is well worth the read!! I recommend it to smokers and non smokers alike! Written in an easy to follow, motivational and informative style - like talking to your family physician – it’s an easy listen!
It walks the reader through a step by step approach to stop smoking success! It leaves no stone unturned in equipping the smoker with proven strategies and tips to smoking cessation. What I love about this book is how the author expertly interweaves triple lifestyle changes: (1) quit smoking, (2) improving diet and; (3) regular exercise, giving the reader a road map to success and the confidence and self belief to undertake these lifestyle changes!
While I am a non smoker, I found this book very beneficial in giving me the motivation and tools I need to engage in healthy eating habits and regular exercise without significant changes to my daily routine! I was able to easily incorporate many of the recommendations in the book into my everyday habits within minutes! Shawn makes it easy to adopt healthier lifestyle choices by spurring us on to include small but meaningful changes day by day into our normal routine. His practical, studied, real-life approach requires minimal effort!
If are you ready to quit smoking and live a happier, healthier and more active lifestyle, this book is for you. If you are on the fence this book is for you!! It may well be the incentive you need to get off the fence and get started!!
