I’ve literally listened to two of the books in this series, in approximately 3 days!! I am in love with this series! The second book was awesome, and I think the character of Sloan is a goal of mine :) she is freaking hilarious! What a great tie in to the story! There were a couple of sex scenes that I chose to skip over a bit. I did, however, find that important things were discussed during these intimate moments so, I didn’t skip much! The book is not for the faint of heart but that’s one reason that I loved it so much!!

Whoa!!! I’m literally speechless!!!

First, I absolutely love Troy Duran! So definitely kudos for choosing him for narrator! She was also amazing. What a great duo! Second, what an amazing, sweet, sexy and intriguing….and beautiful love story!! And wow!!! What a twist!! Just to add, this will go into my top 5 favorite books ever; this book will be amongst books such as "The Thorn Birds" by Colleen McCulloug, Brynne Weaver’s
Butcher & Blackbird and a few select others. I know I am not alone in my opinion. I’m a HUGE book worm and I have read thousands of books, so this is saying something!!

SERIOUSLY COULD HAVE RATED HIGHER….with different narrators

I have gotten freebies that rocked this three book pack that I paid for, out of the water. I’ve become a bit of a professional MC book reader. I love these books; they have intrigue, humor, lightness and darkness, damsel in distress through real life situations, crime, smut….I love them! So, I figured I’d try this one. How bad could it be?? Ummmm…. While I’m no quitter, therefore, I read the books (or listened)….it was pretty painful. I must say, I actually liked most of the stories, some of them sadly hit home, for me. But good HELL…the narrators??!! 🤦🏻‍♀️The man, who literally had no sexiness and sounded as if he were reading an instruction manual while attempting to poop after being constipated for a month. And then the overly whiny female, who took the situations that she was in and made the female sound almost pathetic. The author did a great job creating the stories…I loved the name “captain” and I think with the right people reading this book, this segment alone could have made the book (bc it was funny) memorable for all of the right reasons and, truly, this could have soared in ratings. Id absolutely love to hear these books read by
Troy Duran and Anastasia Watley. I promise, this would make your ratings skyrocket!

Whoa! This will take you on an emotional ride

I bawled like a baby in more than one part of this read! I don’t even want to say what it is about, you’ll understand when you read it. But I have to say….you will find yourself cheering for how a mother’s love is shown. It was probably one of the most emotional books I’ve read, as a momma and grandma.

I like this book, it was really good. I was able to figure out who was responsible for the crimes pretty early but that was ok bc it allowed you to listen and become more involved! Well done!

I enjoyed the narrator of this one!

So many times the female narrators sound nasally…she didn’t. It kept my attention, it had a nice twist. Some of it was predictable but not terrible. It was overall pretty good.

I read/listened to both books and I loved them! There’s a lot to both of them but not too much that you can’t keep up. The narrators were perfect!

One of my favorites from this amazing author!! All of his books are wonderful, this one is special! It makes the reader wonder how the world would be if only we all had the ability to have dragons.
