I thought this story a bit deep in emotional and sexual views alike. I think that if I didn't love the author so much I would have not finished it. It's a great story but my goodness the tensions are crazy! I would be stuck at my sink, cup in hand , frozen as the scene played out. If you are looking for a light or funny read this is not for you. However if you want to be captivated and pulled into passionate love and hate that you can feel in your soul ...well my friend this is your lucky day... I'm glad I trusted this author to bring me out on the other side.

this is the first time listening to this author, and I am amazed it has taken me so long! this narrator was so wonderful and I listened non stop through my chores with ease...i laughed , I smirked, I grimaced, oh the emotional roller coaster of life was brought out in the different characters....such a great story 35 hours seemed so long at my first purchase,but as the book progressed,I wanted it to continue!!!

excellent narration

I have read and listened to Pride and Prejudice so many times that I habe memorized most of the dialogue. This narration is by far the best I have ever heard! It must be difficult to narrate the grating accents of Mrs Bennet but this narrator does so without causing me to flinch ....very well done !!

what an amazing adventure

I read several reviews before deciding on this book... I almost didn't give this title a try...so glad I decided to go ahead and listen to this audio book . I have only just discovered this author and this is the 4th audio book I have listened to in a row. this book was kinda confusing at the start and then something just clicked and I began to understand better... and before long I too was trapped in the story. what an amazing story this was... now that the story is over I know I want to listen again.

this is the first time I have ever read or listen to anything by Nora Roberts I absolutely loved the story I laughed I cried I was just in suspense I will definitely be back for more from Nora Roberts. the narrator did an amazing job as well five stars all the way

this book had me very depressed ..I only listened to 2 hours of the 10 hour story , maybe it would have gotten better .... if you are looking for a very serious story this might be for you, however I prefer the feel good light hearted stories .

this book was the 2nd one I've listened to in this series. the story is heartwarming and sweet with some very humorous moments. I recommend highly ! the narration was perfect as well!

what an interesting story

this story was very good, the narration was difficult at first to follow but as the story brings you in your ears adjust to the softness of the narration. I really enjoyed the story, it was quite funny in parts and heart wrenching in others but overall a very wonderful book.

I usually find an author I love and read everything they have written ...Georgette Heyer , Katherine Ashe, Audrey Harrison etc... a new obsession has overcome me recently, I have only listened to this Narrator ,Mary Jane Wells. its like I can trust the book will be good because they have Mary Jane Wells performing it. I was not wrong, this book was excellent, I have enjoyed it immensely and recommend it to all HR lovers.
