Great except for narrator
Revisado: 04-23-19
Stories are relevant and well written, but narrator's voice inflections are distracting and he often mispronounces names and words.

Historia
Parlez-vous Doggish? At long last, dogs will know just how smart their owners can be. By unlocking the secrets of the hidden language of dogs, psychologist Stanley Coren allows us into the doggy dialogue, or "Doggish", and makes effective communication a reality. Drawing on substantial research in animal behavior, evolutionary biology, and years of personal experience, Coren demonstrates that the average house dog can understand language at about the level of a two-year-old human.

Excellent insight into dog and human interaction
Revisado: 03-21-19
This audiobook is full of valuable information in understanding dog body language and behavior. The examples presented are well described and spot on. The reader is very pleasant to listen to, and gives wonderful impressions of signals and sounds--a real bonus to listening vs silently reading.

Historia
Julia is very short for her age, but by the end of the summer run of The Wizard of Oz, she'll realize how big she is inside, where it counts. She hasn't ever thought of herself as a performer, but when the wonderful director of Oz casts her as a Munchkin, she begins to see herself in a new way. As Julia becomes friendly with the poised and wise Olive and with her deeply artistic neighbor, Mrs. Chang, Julia's own sense of self as an artist grows.
