Star Wars - The High Republic - Path Of Deceit

Part 1 of the Path Of books, followed by Path Of Vengeance by Cavan Scott.

This audio-book is a great adventure in Phase II of the Star Wars - The High Republic books.

It features two Jedi, a Master, Zallah Macri and her Padawan, Kevmo Zink, who go to a Outer Rim planet called Dalna to investigate and try and retrieve a stolen artifact.

On this planet they encounter Marda - and Yana - Ro and a woman known as The Mother.

The book leaves open big questions, which will hopefully be solved in the follow-up book Path Of Vengeance.

Great story-line and excellent voice-acting by Emily O'Brien.

Star Wars: The High Republic: Quest for Planet X

Great Young Adult audio-book that continues Phase II of the High Republic stories (books, comics, audio-books, live action and animated series). It continues some minor storyline from other The High Republic Phase II books.

It's a real thrilling ride and the story is only about 5h30 long, so not to heavy on the ear.

One of new, free Audible Original books from the Disney company. To enjoy fully make sure to have a rudimentary knowledge of The High Republic era, you do need to know about all the books, comic books or TV series. No need to know any of the characters featured in previous books.

The plant-like species known as Drengir are thought to have been destroyed, but when people go missing on the planet of Eiram, one Jedi Master and three Padawans are all the Jedi can spare to investigate.

Star Wars: Mace Windu: The Glass Abyss

I was a big fan of Star Wars: Shatterpoint by Matthew Stover, back in the day (2003), which also had Mace Windu, one of the first Clone Wars novels.

I was looking forward to this new Mace Windu solo story, after 21 years and I wasn't disappointed.

Jedi Master Mace Windu travels to the dangerous, remote planet Metagos, on a mission that challenges even his deadly prowess ,all to fulfill Qui-Gon's last request. He battles the deadly enemies of the Sa'ad and makes the curiest of friends along the way.

He has to make sure to remember the Jedi Code so he doesn't fall to the Dark Side.

I highly recommend this book.

I, Jedi - Star Wars Legends

I read the hard-cover version of this book, way back in (I think) 1993. I thoroughly enjoyed the Star Wars Legends audio-book version of this adventure.

Marc Thompson does an excellent job voice-acting and all voices are different enough to forget the book is being told by one person.

I won't spoil the story too much, but Legends Jedi Corran Horn is the main character (Corran Horn is part of Rogue Squadron at this point in the EU - Expanded Universe) and looks for his wife, Mirax Terrik Horn, the daughter of the smuggler Booster Terrik, who has gone missing.

Luke Skywalker at the same time is trying to rebuild the Jedi Order and is a big part of this story.

Also this book is during the same time-period, in the EU, as The Jedi Academy Trilogy in which the spirit of Exar Kun and the Suncrusher play a big part.

Star Wars - Padawan's Pride

Great short story for Young Adults but fun for older Star Wars fans as well. Podracing with teenage Anakin and Anakin Obi-Wan as undercover agents with fake identities. All post Phantom Menace. I highly recommend it and what's even better, it's totally free of charge if you have an active Audible account.

Star Wars: A New Dawn

A great adventure with Kanan Jarrus en Hera Syndulla and how they met and got to star in the animated series (and Hera also in the Ahsoka live-action) Rebels.

Captain Sloan (((Grand)) Admiral in the animated series and in some of the live-action series) and a strange Darth Vader - General Grievous like Imperial menace are fighting - and plotting - against our Rebel Heroes.

Space battles, battles on planets with mining workers, Star Destroyers, this audio-book has it all.

I highly recommend and with 12h43 it's not that big a listen.

Star Wars - The High Republic - Cataclysm

Great pacing, a lot of drama and death, which you will not see coming at times.

Follow-up to the Convergence (audio)-book.

Great conclusion to the Eiram and E'ronoh planets wars and political intrigues and make sure to always listen/read The Battle Of Jedha (audio)-book as the storylines all come together.
