I met Jamie Fraser when I was 19 years old. He was tall, redheaded, and, at our first meeting at least, a virgin. I fell in love hard, fast, and completely. He knew how to ride a horse, wield a sword, and stitch a wound. He was, in fact, the perfect man. That he was fictional hardly entered into it.

Fun romp in search of love. Go Emma!

I was cheering Emma on, and laughed out loud quite a few times at some of the situations – not to mention her insecurities. It’s never too late to chase your dream, right? The narrator did a fine wee job of all those accents, which must have been tough. She really sank her teeth into some pretty out there characters, but most of all I appreciated the likable tone she has, for such a fun book. Some books are too dry to listen to when they should be fun, but I recommend this. It's a good story, but most of all just a fun romp through the highlands in search of love. Why the hell not?

Have you listened to any of Romy Nordlinger’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I liked the narrators voice and the way she told the story, she made the characters believable. It's very moving and I found myself really caring about them.
Any additional comments?
I'm a sci-fi fan and I just tried this one out of the blue - I'm really glad I did. There's a lot of substance to the intrigues and what happens to the characters, who are very grounded - they seem to really belong in these alien worlds.

What made the experience of listening to StarBridge the most enjoyable?
I'd read this book years ago and always liked it but hearing it made me love it.
What did you like best about this story?
It's sci-fi at it's best with a heart and great characters which is really rare.
What does Romy Nordlinger bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The narrator Romy Nordlinger is fabuluous and helped me believe some pretty far out situations by grounding them in reality and very strong characterizations - and she's easy to listen to.

I'm going to listen to this whole series!!!
