Might be helpful for some people, but this was not for me. I did not like the style where each chapter was basically an interview / therapy session with a patient. Each scenario was geared toward a very specific life situation, which could be helpful if you had a similar situation. This is not a book to help with general anxiety or fears, but very situation specific. I listened to 1 chapter and returned it.

Agree that food and nutrition may contribute to your energy levels and fatigue, but I do not agree with using an IV to inject yourself with nutrients. The IV nutrition some patients or cancer patients receive is called TPN and consists of electrolytes and nutrients a healthy person without feeding or malabsorption/ gut issues should otherwise be able to get with a well balanced diet and/ or oral supplements

Anxiety can be a vicious cycle when you “can’t get out of your head” and you keep harboring negative thoughts and catastrophizing. Agree with his points about not avoiding but instead facing your fears. Avoidance will just make things worse and prolong your anxiety. He mentions slowing down, which is key also. A good way to both get out of your head and to slow down are to incorporate mindfulness practice as you look to overcome anxiety.

Listening to this episode with closed eyes, focusing on following the story being told and imagining I’m outside basking in the sunshine really helps to calm and relax me. I like the relaxing and peaceful musical tones that accompany this episode.

One of my favorite meditations in this series that I keep coming back to. Like that it works its way up the body, and finally culminates in reminding you to let the feeling of relaxation spread from your body all the way up to your mind.

Nice concept of incorporating gratitude for the small things in our daily life, even putting a positive spin on the negative aspects of our day. However, the background music was horrible. It was weird, eerie, and kept on speeding up to the point that it made me anxious.
