Wrong narrator but good story

I enjoy these books on long drives and the narrator put me to sleep. No inflection, humour completely gone. Had to download the written book from Amazon to keep reading the story and switch to another audio book for my drive.

Narrator didn't quite get it

The story was good but the narration was a bit disappointing. The voices of the characters weren't bad but Mr. Heyborne's narration in general was very deadpan and monotone. This one I preferred to read myself. Listened to it in the car on a long journey though and it still entertained me.

Very entertaining

The story was unique amongst the series, bringing in someone who knew about immortals but wasn't one. I enjoyed the narration very much. Miss Christensen had a lot of expression in both the story and the voices. I was a little confused how Carolyn ended up with an Italian accent when she was from Toronto:)

The story was great and very entertaining. After listening to the voices created by Hillary Huber in the previous books in the series, this one was a little disappointing. Narrator was fine but the characters Hillary brought to the series made the stories so much more fun to listen to.
