Disappointing ending

Don’t read this review if you have not read the book yet. While I read, I kept thinking that Mitch would outsmart the bad guys or that someone from his past had come back to seek revenge. But no. The antagonists are just terrorist. Mitch does not outsmart them. They get away with it.
Also, Mitch, who was supposedly so in love with his wife, allowed her to go negotiate with terrorists on her own. This book did not make sense. Such a disappointment, especially as a sequel to a book I couldn’t put down.

Big disappointment

My husband and I tried to get through this book even though we were turned off from the very beginning. The kids’ ridiculous valley girl dialogue though ended it for us. I was disappointed in the body shaming and ongoing descriptions of boobs and body odors. I wish I could get my audible credit back.
