Historia
In Gay Girl, Good God, author Jackie Hill Perry shares her own story, offering practical tools that helped her in the process of finding wholeness. Jackie grew up fatherless and experienced gender confusion. She embraced masculinity and homosexuality with every fiber of her being. She knew that Christians had a lot to say about all of the above. But was she supposed to change herself? How was she supposed to stop loving women, when homosexuality felt more natural to her than heterosexuality ever could?

The way with words is particularly great. I didn't see it coming. She sounds real and like she knows what she's talking about. Fair and objective.

Good Buy.
Revisado: 07-10-23
There were a lot of scathing reviews but several good ones. I listened to the sample and bought it. Totally worth it. I am easily bothered by poor narration and she's good. I wasn't interested in the romance but it wasn't sappy or smothery and the intimate moments weren't explicit. It doesn't feel slow since they didn't have to explain a bunch.

Worth the Creditl
Revisado: 05-25-23
For how many hours there are, it's a worthwhile purchase. The narration is solid but the characters are copies of the original ones personalities. All the guys are gamer dorks who have image issues and try to fold their arms in imitation of someone actually intimidating. You'll also probably have to delete and download the book a few times when it fails to play, but it's not slow to start up again. I'd say it's still worth getting.

Made a Fan Out of Me
Revisado: 04-07-23
While I love audiobooks I have not found one podcast I actually enjoyed out of three years of I've been trying to find one that hit the right balance. The first season while good I think used the narrator too often but later the episodes got shorter so less narration. That's when it got less slow and more action. Great actors and not a cheesy plot or lines. Definitely worth checking this one out.

Historia
On a little-known planet, Archmage Varic Vallenar casts a grand spell to empower himself with the magical abilities of his alternate selves. The ritual works too well, granting Varic not only the magic but also the memories from six lives. Including their gruesome deaths. Now, Varic has power greater than any wizard in galactic history, but he knows that won’t be enough. The enemies he faced in those alternate lives were apocalyptic in scale. Terrors of technology and magic. Nothing that he, or anyone, can defeat.

Mr. Wight Impresses Again!
Revisado: 04-05-23
I am typically a reader who only enjoys magical main characters in a purely fantasy setting. Finding this story had a sci-fi oriented mage with a perfect balance of magic and technology - I was stunned. This story also doesn't have the pitfall of trying to tie in some lusty romance vibe to distract from the actual story. He thinks in such a new unique way the plot devices of this story are quite unique. Still love his Cradle Series the most though!

The Series Truly Picks Up!
Revisado: 01-08-23
This is such an outstanding series, and Ghostwater is where it truly starts its perfect rhythm. The growth of Lindon's powers, connecting the two separate plots, and his newest ally makes everything seem to flow together better and become way more epic. I knew I'd read every Cradle book by the end of this one!

But that's all they were, bedtime stories...until the Shadows embraced Will himself. Now, propelled from the normal world into the mythical realm of Aeril, Will must learn to control his newfound power while discovering his place in this strange, new world.

Solid Narration
Revisado: 01-05-23
This story has so much going for it. Too many fantasy books have so little magic nowadays but this one has a great amount to it and the narration is a plus. My only draw back that might not bother others are the main characters. They seem to want to be mature and thoughtful but they are whiny and emotional and quick to anger. They get mad at all the people with power and have no filter. Towards the end there is ONE cool amazing character who gets added with power and a personality I don't hate, but apparently that makes him crazy to the others. He should have been the main character the whole time.

Simply Stellar
Revisado: 12-23-22
Galand is back and the writing is more amazing than ever. In some of the recent books the dynamic between Galand and Blaze was so overly sarcastic it was getting caustic and more like a sideshow but now it's much more balanced, the action is consistent and feels different and not like repeat performances. I never saw anything coming and so many plot questions and God interactions I had hoped for occurred. Get this!

Not A Bad Story
Revisado: 11-25-22
It's worth listening to but the main character is ridiculous. Any male with this much emotionally crippling daddy issues wouldn't be able to make it out of his bed to be the sobbing mess this guy was. The plot is a strange same story done in two different times thing that almost made me feel...why not just write it once? The romance isn't endearing and some of the "challenges" are laughably unbelievable but the main character gets broken up about it anyway. It definitely made me roll my eyes constantly in the last four hours...most powerful man ever but can't do anything or save the daughter he's talking about the whole novel. That is tough.
