Historia
A rich, sweeping, and compelling work of botanical history, The Cabaret of Plants explores dozens of plant species that for millennia have challenged our imaginations, awoken our wonder, and upturned our ideas about history, science, beauty, and belief. Going back to the beginnings of human history, Richard Mabey shows how flowers, trees, and plants have been central to human experience not just as sources of food and medicine but as objects of worship, actors in creation myths, and symbols of war and peace, life and death.

Good story, with some old and current issues involved💫 A little hard to follow at times with so many people involved, but I was also working while listening ☺️

Times They Are A Changing
Revisado: 01-28-21
I like how the author had a couple stories tied into this...comparing Nazi Germany to Customs Border Agents. Very heartfelt story and shows not all Germans and/or Mexicans are Evil. Which can be said for all races and cultures🌠💞

Great stories...I just had trouble focusing on some of the stories because it was hard to tell when one story ended and another began, but was also working while listening ☺️
