Historia
In the heart of the South Pacific lies Point Nemo, the most desolate and remote place on Earth. At its core is a dead zone, devoid of life, where government agencies crash their obsolete satellites and space stations, confident they won't harm a soul. When the International Space Station suffers a catastrophic failure and plummets through the atmosphere, it's here that Mission Specialist Julie Rohr, an astrobiologist studying living space dust called xylem, finds herself marooned. Julie's only hope for rescue lies in the hands of her estranged father, Dr. Finn Maddern, a renowned mycologist.

Jeremy Robinson Does It Again!
Revisado: 12-24-24
Yet another brilliant concept, heartfelt, intriguing, funny, and relatable characters, and an overall Rollercoaster from front to back! Part of me wishes I could live in a universe where all of Robinson's books were movies and TV shows, and this one is no exception! And for those of us who are fans of his larger body of work, it was fun spotting the references!

A lot of fun!
Revisado: 11-23-23
This was so much fun and such a different experience to the regular audio books! Hats off to the whole cast, especially the incredible RC Bray for not only adding so much life and realism to already established, great characters, but for doing double duty as both Colonel Joe and Skippy (no way you could recast either)! Oh, and Kate Mulgrew as Nagatha! Brilliant! This is a must listen!

So awesome!!!
Revisado: 09-02-23
I wrote a big long review, and then accidentally closed the app and lost it. I'm pretty sure I repurposed some of the colorful words RC Bray uses in his blooper reels.
Anyway, I'm not going to rewrite all of that because I realized it's already been said in all of the other reviews. So here's what you should do; go read all of the others, get hyped, start/complete the other books in the Infinite Timeline, and read/listen to Singularity. This entire experience is such a fun ride!
Lastly, thank you to Jeremy Robinson for dreaming up such an amazing universe full of the beat stories, actions, and characters. And thank you as well to the masters of spoken word that are RC Bray and Jeffrey Kafer. Y'all really went the extra mile making the characters come alive!

Historia
Several months after his neighborhood was cloaked in darkness and invaded by the demon-like denizens of a hellish world, life has returned to normal for Miah Gray, a.k.a. Laser Chicken. No longer burdened by PTSD, he is free to enjoy his family and to help pick up the pieces of a pillaged world. At night, he trains with his eight-year-old companion, Bree, a.k.a. Demon Dog, and their neighbors Henry and Sarah, the god-like descendants of Helen of Sparta and the mythological Zeus. All is calm...until new neighbors move in across the street and shatter the peace.

Jonas kills people...with his mind. He reaches out, focuses for a moment, and feels a snap of pain between his eyes. Then his target falls over dead: a hole in the center of their brains. The cause of death is unknown to all aside from Jonas, and his lone companion, Bubbles, a sarcastic AI with aspirations to be more human, or a serial killer. One of the two. Maybe both. Jonas calls his ability...mind bullet.

Add another one to the lists of greats!
Revisado: 05-09-23
Jeremy Robinson's novel Mind Bullet is an absolute thrill ride that had me hooked from the first page to the very last. Packed with non-stop action, this book kept me on the edge of my seat, eagerly flipping through the pages to see what would happen next. Robinson's ability to craft intense and pulse-pounding action sequences is unparalleled, and Mind Bullet showcases his mastery of the genre.
But it's not just the action that impressed me; Robinson's infusion of humor and heart into the story added depth and resonance to the characters and their journey. The witty banter and well-timed comedic moments had me laughing out loud, while the emotional beats touched my heart and made me truly invest in the characters' struggles and triumphs.
What sets Mind Bullet apart from other novels is how it seamlessly ties together elements from Robinson's other books. As a fan, it was an absolute joy to spot the connections and references to his previous works, creating a rich and interconnected universe that rewards long-time readers. Jeremy Robinson has firmly secured his place in my top three favorite authors, and Mind Bullet is a shining example of his exceptional storytelling prowess.

Historia
Miah Gray is a 27-year-old former army soldier living in rural New Hampshire with his sister, mother, and her boyfriend. He is plagued by PTSD, finding solace, but not redemption, with the aid of prescribed cannabis. All he wants to do is get high, relax with a good sandwich, and watch a meteor shower with his neighborhood crush, Jen. When the sun's light is blotted out the following morning and the world is plunged into darkness, Miah finds himself locked down with his family, covering windows with trash bags, lighting candles, and following the arcane rules of an ancient prophecy.

The Dark Hits It Out of the Park Again!
Revisado: 04-30-23
What can I say? Jeremy Robinson has quickly become my favorite author. And once again, like all of his onther works, The Dark proves to have it all. Wit, sarcasm, emotion, humor, wicked twists and turns, all wrapped up in perfectly written characters and action. And to bring it to life, there ain't nobody better than R.C. Bray! If you're on the fence about this one, or any of Robinson's other novels, I'd say pull the trigger on them, all of them!

Historians have long told the story of America’s birth as the triumph of Jefferson’s democratic ideals over the aristocratic intentions of Hamilton. Chernow presents an entirely different man, whose legendary ambitions were motivated not merely by self-interest but by passionate patriotism and a stubborn will to build the foundations of American prosperity and power.

Historia
After years of adventuring around the globe – running, kayaking, hitchhiking, exploring – Beau Miles came back to his block in country Victoria. Staying put for the first time in years, Beau developed a new kind of lifestyle as the Backyard Adventurer. Whether it was walking 90km to work with no provisions, building a canoe paddle out of scavenged scrap, or running a disused railway line through properties, blackberry thickets, and past inquiring police officers, Beau has been finding ways to satisfy his adventurous spirit close to home.

Just a bloody good book!
Revisado: 02-28-22
If you came across this book, it’s more likely that you’re a fan of Beau and his films, and if that’s not the case, as soon as you can, look him up online, find you’re way to his YouTube, and watch some (or all) of his work! They’re “bloody good”, as I imagine the saying would be (though I’m an American typing this, so I hope I don’t offend any Australians)! Now getting back to this book, what can I say? It’s a wonderful blend of memoir, adventure journal, guide to life, and inspirational passages. It weaves Beau’s experience through life and shares the philosophy that makes him who he is, all while keeping it entertaining and inspiring you to be adventurous, no matter where you are!

How do you write a review for a book full of reviews? You don’t, unless you can write one as beautifully and insightfully written as John Green. So with that being said, I’ll leave you with my simplistic review; read/listen to this book, own this book, love this book. You will come back to it again and again, I guarantee it.

Love the outdoors? Read this book!
Revisado: 03-01-21
It may seem counterintuitive that, if you’re an avid backpacker, hiker, camper, etc. that you should read a book written about someone who was tragically lost in those outdoors we all love, but trust me on this one; this brilliant book by Eric Blehm is, on its surface, a chronicle of the search for missing backcountry ranger, Randy Morgenson. But that record is only the punctuation for the underlying story of a man who loved the outdoors, arguably, more than anything else in the world. This sentiment is conveyed through quotes from famous authors and naturalists, interviews from those family, friends, and colleagues of Randy, and through many excerpts of Randy’s personal collection of writings and other materials. If you love the outdoors, and maybe haven’t been in awhile, read this book, get inspired to go back out and slow down/look around a bit, and discover/rediscover a little bit of the beauty and calmness of the outdoors that Randy Morgenson spent most of his life preserving and protecting. You owe it to yourself, and the legacy Randy left behind, to at least do that.
