Historia
Our narrator is the most talented salesperson at Dare to Know, an enigmatic company that has developed the technology to predict anyone’s death down to the second. Divorced, estranged from his sons, and broke, he is driven to violate the cardinal rule of the business by forecasting his own death day. The problem: His prediction says he died 23 minutes ago. The only person who can confirm its accuracy is Julia, the woman he loved and lost during his rise up the ranks of Dare to Know.

Honestly, I just kept listening because I couldn't believe how bad and crazy the book had gotten. The first half is fine. Very interesting premise. but the author goes off the deep end for the last third and you kind of feel like you were just along for the ride on a really bad acid trip. I do not recommend.

Historia
Liza Miller never dreamed that anyone would be interested in her life, let alone buy a book about it. But everything changes when, on the eve of her 50th birthday, she publishes a thinly veiled novel about a woman posing as a millennial called Younger - which her old friend Kelsey wants to turn into a TV show. Liza is off to Los Angeles to help Kelsey write the pilot. But that means leaving behind her on-again off-again boyfriend, Josh, her pregnant daughter, and her best friend, Maggie. Can Liza find happiness in her new adventure if it means leaving everyone she loves?

Meh at best.
Revisado: 10-11-20
Sutton was very disappointing and the story uncaptivating. Unless she was speaking as liza, her tone was bland. The plot does its best to link the original book with the changes in the show, but it is so far fetched and seems weekly put together that I was not interested at all and what happened to the characters. it's a shame, because the show is so great

Historia
Six years after the fight that ended their friendship, Daphne Berg is shocked when Drue Cavanaugh walks back into her life, looking as lovely and successful as ever, with a massive favor to ask. Daphne hasn’t spoken one word to Drue in all this time - she doesn’t even hate-follow her ex-best friend on social media - so when Drue asks if she will be her maid-of-honor at the society wedding of the summer, Daphne is rightfully speechless.

total surprise, totally enjoyable
Revisado: 08-02-20
Don't worry about all the people complaining about the narrator. She is completely fine. I didn't even notice any odd pronunciations. she has a young sounding voice, but the character is Young. I think people just have to have something to complain about. as for the story, it was a total shock. I thought it was going to be a simple love story and, I won't ruin anything, but it was so much more. it was the audible version of a page-turner, I couldn't stop listening.

Historia
With courage, grace, and powerful insight, bestselling author Kristin Hannah captures the epic panorama of World War II and illuminates an intimate part of history seldom seen: the women's war. The Nightingale tells the stories of two sisters, separated by years and experience, by ideals, passion and circumstance, each embarking on her own dangerous path toward survival, love, and freedom in German-occupied, war-torn France—a heartbreakingly beautiful novel that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the durability of women. It is a novel for everyone, a novel for a lifetime.

absolutely love this narrator. She does a great job with the voices, is easy to understand, and you actually believe her as much of the characters. As always, this author's storyline is impeccable. she captures the human experience flawlessly always creating real authentic and memorable characters. I highly recommend this book.
