Historia
The secret behind France's astonishingly well-behaved children is here. When American journalist Pamela Druckerman has a baby in Paris, she doesn't aspire to become a "French parent". French parenting isn't a known thing, like French fashion or French cheese. Even French parents themselves insist they aren't doing anything special. But French children are far better behaved and more in command of themselves than American kids....

It’s okay to have me time
Revisado: 07-02-24
I absolutely loved this book! From living overseas in Japan to coming back to America and having an almost 2 yr old has changed my perspective on parenting abundantly and wanted to peak into how other countries parent. I definitely will be taking into consideration to give myself grace, allow me time, and enjoy the little moments with my child so that I am not stressed out. 10/10 recommend for any new parent open to different parenting styles.

Confirming it’s okay to embrace the chaos
Revisado: 06-07-24
I took from this that no relation is perfect and that is okay. Having a child is not for the weak and it’s up to the parents to remember to not lose themselves and embrace the new norm. Everyone gets burnt out at some point but communication is key to a happy home.

Definitely a must read for any parent.

I’m a FTM and felt so overwhelmed before finding this book. Something about this book validated all of my emotions. The good and bad but made me understand it’s okay to feel this way and how to cope. A lot of the things I already knew but hearing it from someone else that is not related to you. Or someone you know in a way calms you. I definitely will be re-listening to whenever I am feeling stressed and recommend this to any parent no matter what stage your child is in.

It was mostly good
Revisado: 03-31-23
From chapters 1-8 I was interested and then it lost me around 9. It felt a little dragged out. It’s deff a good read/listen if you’re feeling a little out of place and unsure of things.
