This was a fun and clever book. While the author did, indeed, write a fair mystery, I was nonetheless baffled right up to the final reveal. Can’t wait for a third book. Though I hope no one has to die for a new book!

Loved the imagination and wholesomeness of the premise. It’s in no way naive or childish but I would be happy to listen, and laugh, with my kids. A fun and murderous romp.

Perfectly fun and fluffy

If you like reality TV - especially the Housewives - this well organized and surprisingly thorough look at a very fluffy topic is a neat little behind-the-scenes bit of brain candy. Enjoy it for what it is. And kudos to the author!

A fun premise

Narrator too distracting

I do wanted to like this book but the narrator’s sing song delivery is so distracting that I’m not sure I’m going to be willing to finish the story. Disappointing.

First story was by far the best

The fun and absurdity of the first short story was worth every minute of this listen. The other stories were ok but the humor and realistic approach to ridiculously relatable situation was priceless.

Has nothing to do with mastery!

Title is extremely misleading. As a professional in this field, I was looking for deeper insights. Instead the author presents a VERY high level overview of these topics. If I wanted an introduction to these many topics, this would be fine but labeling this a “Mastery Bible” is seriously inaccurate and disappointing. I’ll be getting a refund for this title.

Narration distracts!

The content of the book is interesting but, in this case, having the author read it was a mistake. He sounds like he’s reading a children’s book and falls into a sing song rhythm right from the beginning. Very hard not to get caught up in that rather than the story.

Clearly not my genre. I found the plot to be formulaic and slow. I didn't see any character development nor interesting development of relationships. Disappointing.

Info probably good but can't get past the distractions!

As a career leadership/performance professional, I routinely listen to books on topics related to my field. As such, I'm no stranger to getting past bad narration and poor writing to get to the meat of a valuable message.
I can't do it for this book! The narrator is robotic and slow. When I can get past that, he mispronounces too many basic performance terms and my concentration on the content is interrupted time and again as I mentally correct him.
The writing so unnecessarily padded that I frequently think we've moved into another topic only to realize that they're simply saying the same thing again (and again) in a more convoluted way.
No wonder the authors spend so much time on their dubious credentials at the top of the book.
There is some useful content buried in here that might be useful though it's amateurishly stated and there are errors in the content. However, even that is so deeply covered beneath the nonsense that I cannot recommend this book. It should have been about an hour long recording.
