Setting a nice volume to listen and relax, you suddenly get blasted out of your shoes by a shrieking hollering voice. After your heart rate goes back down, you lower the volume. Then you find you can't hear more soft spoken characters. It goes on and on, frustrating. The voices aren't bad but whoever set the volume range really messed up.

Bosch Still Rocks!

This is TWO great stories in the same book....Welliver's read is wonderful. Haller's appearance was a fun surprise. Read and see if this isn't one of your favorite Harry Bosch books. It certainly is mine.

I often could not understand what the reader said. Her accent was cute but she spoke way way to fast. I wondered if she spoke so fast because it was an abridged version, which I have never bought before. I'm leery about buying book 6 as it's the same reader and abridged. I may just skip to book 7.
