Historia
The new novel from the bestselling author of You Had Me At Hello. Anna Alessi - history expert, possessor of a lot of hair and an occasionally filthy mouth - seeks nice man for intelligent conversation and Mills & Boon moments. Despite the oddballs that keep turning up on her dates, Anna couldn't be happier. As a 30-something with a job she loves, life has turned out better than she dared dream.

Excellent
Revisado: 07-10-19
I've fast become addicted to this author after listening to Don't You Forget About Me (which I recommend if you liked this). Once again, this is a deeply enjoyable listen filled with wit, romance, and real emotion, which is all expertly brought to life by the voice actor.

Historia
You always remember your first love. Don't you? It began with four words. "I love your laugh." But that was 12 years ago. It really began the day Georgina was fired from The Worst Restaurant in Sheffield (TripAdvisor) and found The Worst Boyfriend in the World (Georgina's best friends) in bed with someone else. So when her new boss, Lucas McCarthy, turns out to be the boy who wrote those words to her all that time ago, it feels like the start of something. The only problem? He doesn't seem to remember Georgina at all.

Fantastic (Especially for Rom Com Fans)
Revisado: 07-09-19
Excellent performance and SUPERBLY written, this more than satisfied my Bridget-Jones-Four-Weddings-Golden-Era-Rom-Com itch. It has a backbone of real emotion, is very enjoyably witty, and has a genuinely likeable heroine. I can't wait to read/listen to more from this author.

Martin Short takes you on a rich, hilarious, and occasionally heartbreaking ride through his life and times, from his early years in Toronto as a member of the fabled improvisational troupe Second City to the all-American comic big time of Saturday Night Live and memorable roles in movies such as ¡Three Amigos! and Father of the Bride.

The Best Autobiography on Audible (I Must Say)
Revisado: 10-29-16
Would you listen to I Must Say again? Why?
Yes, I will listen to this again and again. Martin Short's book is filled with comedy, emotion, entertainment, and advice that will surely offer something new to the listener upon each revisit.
What about Martin Short’s performance did you like?
Martin Short employs his expert impressions and brings to life his most famous characters throughout the work, which enhanced it beautifully. However, Martin Short is also an amazing narrator in general, his voice rising and falling expertly to create emotional and comedic crescendos and diminuendos.
Any additional comments?
By far, this is the best non-fiction work I have purchased on Audible. In fact, not only was it the best I've heard, but it is also the best my Father has heard - meaning Martin Short resonated with an audience separated by almost 40 years.
Martin Short is certainly a Canadian treasure, but he is also an international one. How have we been so lucky to get a man so genuinely wonderful? I don't know. But I'm grateful now not only for the film's Martin Short has made, but also this well crafted book and superbly performed audiobook.
Thank you Martin Short for this work, it has timeless value and has come to me at a critical juncture in my own life and I'm so grateful to have had your voice guiding me - making me laugh when I needed it, and not letting me hide from important emotions when I wanted to.
I CANNOT recommend this book highly enough.
