Historia
A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

great book series
Revisado: 02-26-25
one of the best litrpg's on the market. DCC is dark, funny, and also a type of unconventional horror. While not scary to the reader we are participants to the crawl, our humor is the same as the viewers in the book observing and laughing at the characters suffering.
Well written and the reader is fantastic. Highly recommend!

Historia
When a transphobic woman bombs Frankie’s workplace, she blows up Frankie’s life with it. As the media descends like vultures, Frankie tries to cope with the carnage: binge-drinking, sleeping with strangers, pushing away her friends. Then, she meets Vanya. Mysterious, terrifying Vanya. The two hit it off immediately, but as their relationship intensifies, so too does Frankie’s feeling that Vanya is hiding something from her. When Vanya’s secrets threaten to tear them apart, Frankie starts digging, and unearths a sinister conspiracy, the roots of which go deeper than she ever imagined.

Historia
Torn between worlds, without maps on the Moonbeam Roads, seeking forgotten memories and lost loves, Elric of Melniboné faces the strangest adventures of his bizarre and varied life. His relationships, his very bloodlines, reveal a still larger canvas, a narrative crowded with avatars of the Eternal Champion—von Bek, Hawkmoon, Corum, Captain Bastable, and others—coming together across the multiverse in a finale that makes the troubled albino a major player in the great War Amongst the Angels while rooting him thoroughly in our real world and history!

Different but good, multiverse shenanigans
Revisado: 09-18-24
Very, very, very, different compared to traditional Elric stories however if you're up for an unconventional rendition Elric, who usually isn't the main character in these. However these stories are all loosely centered and do always come back to Elric in a round about way. They span across the moon beam roads and other worlds whose maintenance is key to maintaining the balance between law and chaos, then I'd recommend it.

Historia
Vampires have always lived in Eastern Europe. But with the fall of the Soviet Union, they began to spread across the continent, then the world, turning whole populations into vampires - or human cattle. Having overrun India, the far East, and the great cities of North and South America, the forces of Night are now spreading into the countryside to consolidate their conquest.

wasn't a fan
Revisado: 05-31-23
honestly felt more like a power fantasy for the mc but with self pity and vampires instead of a re-imagining of classic vampires in a new interesting way. Wasn't my cup of tea, I guess. Some of the ideas with the vampires were interesting, but vampires taking over the world turning humans into cattle didn't come off as novel. Additionally I wasn't a fan of the mc's since their plot points at the end were very predictions and the female characters weren't all that well written in my opinion.

Historia
This transcendent story follows four college friends who move to New York City, buoyed by ambition: Willem, an aspiring actor; JB, an artist; Malcolm, an architect; and, at the center, Jude, a withdrawn, brilliant attorney haunted by an unspeakable past. Through decades of shared and separate lives, Jude’s suffering - and its impact on those who love him - raises questions about the limits of human endurance, the possibility for redemption, and the meaning of friendship.

for all its criticisms it made me cry, which is difficult for me to do with a fictional story
