I believe that the information was well delivered, and to the point. I enjoyed the pointers and the upbeat delivery of the book. The suggestions that were made were absolutely doable.

There is not a bad chapter and this is definitely a book to grab the hard copy! So encouraging but lovely to see that a more humble and human version of the actor and musician. My favorite thing about this auditable is the over lap and use of music. Very well done.

Jesus made me read it
Revisado: 09-17-21
This book I know In have shared over 10 times to various people. I feel like a part time publicist for the book I loved it so much. I am grateful to have received this book in a time of growth and wonder for Gods plan over my life. Some times we need a real world example and reference of Gods blessings or bamboozling to show us that we are living in Gods Grace & blessings. This was further confirmation and encouragement and beautiful display of love for our father God.
Amen

Historia
Being “shook” is more than a rap lyric for Charlamagne; it’s his mission to overcome. While it may seem like he is ahead of the game and should have nothing to worry about, he is still plagued by anxieties - fear of being weak; fear of being a bad dad; fear of being a worse husband; and, ultimately, fear of failure. Shook One chronicles his journey to beat back those fears and empowers you to no longer be held back from your potential.

As a southern black therapist… From Charleston SC to be exact I found this book not only riveting but exactly with the southern person in me needed to hear and read. Often times a book read by a celebrity or even written by one is assumed to have no relatable correlations in life however this book surprisingly displayed otherwise. The clinical references as well as examples from the author allowed for real examples to be not only relatable but to put any reader at ease. My absolute favorite parts of the book were the psychological references to correlate examples from the author. This book was simple enough however complex enough for any type of reader this is definitely an audible to purchase as well as a book to buy.

Historia
Fumio Sasaki is not an enlightened minimalism expert or organizing guru like Marie Kondo - he's just a regular guy who was stressed out and constantly comparing himself to others, until one day he decided to change his life by saying goodbye to everything he didn't absolutely need. The effects were remarkable: Sasaki gained true freedom, new focus, and a real sense of gratitude for everything around him.

This was an easy read. Very good storyteller. The references were easy to apply. The list were able to be accomplished. The flow of the material was awesome. Definitely a great first time book for someone interested in minimalism. Great read for someone who just desires to begin to release stuff.

Historia
Every day, we find ourselves in gatherings, Priya Parker says in The Art of Gathering. If we can understand what makes these gatherings effective and memorable, then we can reframe and redirect them to benefit everyone, host and guest alike. Parker defines a gathering as three or more people who come together for a specific purpose. When we understand why we gather, she says - to acknowledge, to learn, to challenge, to change - we learn how to organize gatherings that are relevant and memorable.
