Brilliant. Just brilliant. This series is getting better and better. The narrator (one of my two favorite narrators, the other one being Amanda Ronconi) is at her best in this book.

Oh my, what a stunning story. Colourful, gentle, heart breaking, warm, sad and so much more. The narration was partly brilliant when voicing Lily, Mack and Joey and excruciatngly bad when voicing Cara ans Ben. Eliminating periods and mixing up the male and female voices in a monotone drone. I had to play back many times to understand and make sense of the story. How on earth can a narrator be brilliant and the worst ever in one and the same story?! The book itself is just plain beautiful.

The narrator should get an Oscar for his performance. I laughed out loud and had tears rolling down my cheeks at other times. I loved breakfast and could not imagine a sequel that could be at least as good. It is. I pre-ordered dinner with Buddha, in the meantime I am going to listen to breakfast and lunch again. I have never listened to a bookagain because there is too much good stuff out there. This time I am. Amazing, down to earth, emotional, beautiful and absolutely totally utterly brilliant.
This is for everyone, blue collar, white collar, religious, atheist, computer geek, farmer, house wife or bank clerk. These are feel good books that make you think and think a bit more.

The short stories are informative and reveal a lot about the character of the subjects. It makes you realize that you choose your own path by your actions, reactions and habits.

How did the narrator detract from the book?
The super slow drawl of the male narrator is excruciatingly painful to listen to. The main characters are females and I may have enjoyed the book with a female narrator, but this was impossible to listen to.
