A good distraction

I'm a 49 year old military broker. Lived outside the U.S. most of my life. Recently returned to the U.S. and I am shocked at the deterioration of our society. I know well enough that to stay informed you must ignore the media & read. History is all we have to really progress as a civilization, but I often need a break. Fiction novels like these are an excellent distraction.
