Historia
The engrossing, often scandalous saga of one of the wealthiest, longest-lasting, and most colorful family dynasties in the history of American commerce—a cautionary tale about prosperity, profligacy, hubris, and the blessings and dark consequences of success. This engrossing, vivid narrative captures the Busch saga through five generations. At the same time, it weaves a broader story of American progress and decline over the past 150 years. It's a cautionary tale of prosperity, hubris, and loss.

I read a lot of beer books. While this book may not give you a ton of beer knowledge it will give you an immense amount of beer history and fantastic stories.

Historia
It's a great time to be a beer drinker, but also the most confusing, thanks to the dizzying array of available draft beers. Expert Joshua M. Bernstein comes to the rescue with The Complete Beer Course, demystifying brews and breaking down the elements that make beer's flavor spin into distinctively different and delicious directions. Structured around a series of easy-to-follow classes, his course hops from lagers and pilsners to hazy wheat beers, Belgian-style abbey and Trappist ales, aromatic pale ales and bitter IPAs, roasty stouts, and mouth-puckering sour ales.

Clashing Narration/Writing Style
Revisado: 11-16-18
*UPDATE: Going through the book a 2nd time, I think my first review was too harsh. The book has a lot of good info, but I still wish the narration was better. Overall I bumped everything up a star."
Josuah love to be discriptive, which is great, but it does not vibe with the narration. The narrator sounds like like a 1920 speakeasy owner who continued aging but never left that time period.
The narrorator mispronounces a lot of words like Cicerone (Sis-er-ohn not Sis-er-oh-ney), Trub (Troob not Trub), and povolone (the cheese...)
At times, it feel like the Narrator is just reading beer lables back to back. The actual book is solid, but at times it does not translate well to audiobook format.

Great Story but Terrible Switches in Narration
Revisado: 10-20-16
The story was excellent, but the narration would jump randomly from narrator to full cast
