Great overall!

What a fascinating story set amongst the gritty travels of those in wagon caravans going west in the 1850s. I absolutely loved listening to this story, and the narrators did a wonderful job.

Historia
Leaving one widow behind is unfortunate. Leaving three widows behind is just plain despicable. Oil heiress Kate Steele knew her not-so-dearly departed husband was a con man, but she's shocked that Conrad racked up two more wives without divorcing her first. The only remnant of their miserable marriage she plans to keep is their lakeside cabin in Bootleg, Texas. Unfortunately, she's not the only woman with that idea.

I enjoyed this story about three women who come together after the death of their mutual husband (quite a hurdle for them to get over).
This books is sweet and charming, especially my favorite character Gracie.

Historia
At the end of her rope, single mom Lily Anderson is determined to move her rebellious children in the right direction. That means taking away their cell phones, tablets, and computers—at least temporarily—and moving to the house where Lily grew up in the rural town of Comfort, Texas. But Lily has a bigger challenge than two sulking teens. The house comes with Mack Cooper, high school teacher and handsome longtime renter. The arrangement: just housemates. But Mack’s devoted attention to the kids starts to warm Lily’s resistant heart.

Historia
This ambitious, electrifying work traces the harrowing journey of the famed Sarajevo Haggadah, a beautifully illuminated Hebrew manuscript created in 15th-century Spain. When it falls to Hanna Heath, an Australian rare-book expert, to conserve this priceless work, the series of tiny artifacts she discovers in its ancient binding—an insect wing fragment, wine stains, salt crystals, a white hair—only begin to unlock its deep mysteries.

What an amazing narrator!
Revisado: 03-27-21
I already loved this book when I read it a few years ago in paperback, but the narrator for the audiobook did an amazing job! Each character had their own tone and accent that made them identifiable, and the narrator was great at accents from different countries.
I highly recommend this narrator and audiobook!!

Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Great life stories to listen to while driving!
Revisado: 02-04-21
This was an entertaining read, or rather listen, and there are parts that were a bit of a culture shock to me.
Sometimes I wish the story was told chronologically though, for it would have been easier to follow.
