stopped listening to this book. the only examples he could put out were not part of modern day problems and what people are facing. It feels he is talking from a place of privelage and this will not help the everyday average person.

a heavy read but important

as a CSA survivor currently working through the PTSD of what I experienced this book was a rough read. there were many times I was triggered and had to even put down the book for a few months until I felt well again. oddly enough I'm glad I finished it. despite the harsh subject matter and all the terrible things that happen to Jude, I did come out feeling that my life matter and people care. and seeing the other perspective of those who love a CSA survivor is eye opening. I cherish this book because it really helped me open my eyes. but honestly I want everyone to know this is a hard read and don't expect to binge it. take care of yourself and read this bit by bit.
