I can’t say enough good about this audio version of Mere Christianity! I was sad when it ended, and decided I will listen again! The narrator, Julian Rhind-Tutt, is just simply the best narrator for a C.S. Lewis book!

Amazing! What an Incredible Story!

The narrator and Virginia’s life story had me right from the beginning. I had to force myself to take breaks from listening to it. I don’t think I could say enough about how the narration made the story come alive and placed me in the setting in each chapter. The beautiful story of redemption over and over again in the author’s life will also encourage you during these challenging times we are in.
Listen to this book and will resolve to deepen your trust in God and cling to His Word.

You will be extremely impacted!

I could hardly stop listening to this incredible book. I finished it in one day!
First, let me inform you to bear with the Narrator, Julia Farhat, in the very beginning, as she goes through the preliminary foundation of the book. She is one of the most incredible narrators I have ever had the privilege of listening to. I have many audible books, and Julia makes this book come to life and becomes Esther and the other characters in the story!
I have been forever changed! I belong to an International church that includes a church in Pakistan, as well as churches in 9 other countries that are mostly Muslim. I have a deeper understanding and will seek to learn more specifically of what my dear Christian friends in those countries need.
I am also deeply humbled by Esther and John’s devotion to the Word of God. I would go so far as to say, I am ashamed that I have taken the precious Holy Bible for granted.
Get this book!

Great stories about great saints

I was very blessed by learning more about these great saints of old. To learn of their suffering and how near to God they were through those times is very precious.
I would more highly recommend this book as an audible if it weren’t for the reader sounding like one of those recorded messages that are computerized. It was difficult to stay focused because of this. Nevertheless, John Piper truly did his research and gives us great insight into some very humble men of God. We should strive to know God as deeply as these men, yet some of us do all we can to avoid suffering.

The Way of Abundance -Life changing!

I have been listening to this audio book for two years over and over. It has literally changed me and humbled me and healed me, all while teaching to comprehend the deep love and grace my Lord has for me. If you want a soothing and gentle author to read to you, Ann Voskamp is the the one, especially for this particular book. You get the feeling, whilst listening, that God refined her through all that she has been through. Ann is a real person with genuine struggles, loss, pain, and victories. She brings your focus to reflecting on how God gives abundantly in circumstances in which we may not see or feel Him. That is the Way of Abundance.

Intimate and profound

I have been challenged on so many levels!
I have learned about Islam and my Christian faith through my journey reading/listening to Nabeel share his journey from being a Muslim to becoming a Christian. This book has led me to pursue my apologetics for my faith. I am overwhelmed with both conviction and anticipation to learn more. This book is intense; don’t stop listening through the detailed chapters.

I couldn't even get through the first chapter due to the readers voice hurting my ears. Every time she says a word with an S in is she whistles super high pitched and its awful. I bought the actual book and love the content however.

A truly life changing book about prayer!

I listened to chapters in this book over and over. I had the book as well, and sometimes I followed along while listening. I didn’t want to miss anything that was shared. I can honestly say that this book has radically changed my relationship with God. I have been inspired to pray as never before; to pray because it will make a difference for eternity! I also immensely enjoyed listening to both readers.

love this book, but not the guy reading it

In the first book the guy reading this pronounced several names and worfs wrong and it got on my nerves. In this book he has completely changed the pronunciation of the MAIN characters name. instead of saying Dom-uh-nee-ka he says duhminuhka super fast like you would say Dominican republic. The main characters name is constantly mentioned and its so annoying!
